The five foot four blonde continued to stalk around the Theater. Why was this place of such interest to them? The owner was a total Karen, and a bit of a busybody. Still, best take advantage of it and beat up more Rockets. And maybe convince them that this wasn't a good idea. Whoever did those vines and shit was on his hit list as well. But he ended up nearly running into a different Rocket. The guy with the Salandit! After a hot second of staring, Aaron jumped back and took out a pokeball. With a short toss, a large Metagross was summoned.

The large meteor landed with a small quake. While Aaron was taking a few more steps back, he gave a single command. To limit the number of counters to his big boy, he spoke with a cold tone. "Magnet Rise." The meteor sparked with electricity and started to hover. Now to see if the guy was going to oblige or try to run...Aaron wasn't going to let this one go very easily. Not this time at least.

He'd run away, but what else was he supposed to do? wren rourke wasn't supposed to be there and yet... this shouldn't have happened. He should have left earlier, not even gotten in a fight with his best friend to begin with. The only hope he had was that Wren hadn't figured out who he was in the process, but that wasn't looking entirely certain.

Levy was out of breath by the time he stopped running, realizing he headed back the way he'd come from. Back towards the theater. It might have been best to make like a golbat and get the hell out of dodge, but he still had a job, didn't he? And yet... "You gotta be fuckin kidding me." He hissed at the sight of the blonde, the same that had attacked his group earlier. Obviously, the kid had about as much emotional control as a toddler, so it wasn't surprising when a fight was initiated right off the bat.

He couldn't catch a break. Truthfully, he didn't have lot of options left (or pokemon for that matter that were still in fighting shape). So, he'd just have to make do and hope for the best. Maybe make a run for it again the second he had the chance. "Iron defense." He hissed as he released Perrserker, and then: "Fury swipes." The feline dashed for the Metagross, lashing out with its claws.

Aaron actually almost laughed at what the Rocket said before the rumble started. Clearly the man had gotten a sight of him when he released his Steelix and ordered the attack on them earlier. Well, let's see if he can put the fear of Arceus into the Rocket. The man sent out a Perrserker, immediately using Iron Defense. Not bad...Metagross was a physical attacker...but not good enough. It might be enough for it to survive a particular hit. With a cold monotone, he ordered an attack. "Hammer Arm." It would drop Meta's speed, but it was a powerful Fighting-type attack. Against a fellow Steel-type. And his Metagross had been training a while at this point. Still, it waited even as the feline closed the distance and started to scratch the shit out of him with Fury Swipes. That...wasn't a strong attack, and against a Steel-type, wasn't very effective. Weak.

And hardly trained at all! Aaron wouldn't mind a Perrserker of his own, but come on! Was this all Rocket had to offer him?! Well, they'll need to do a major recruitment drive after this. One of Metagross's arms glowed orangey brown, then tried to slam it against the Perrserker. That Iron Defense might be the only reason it isn't KO'd if it gets hit, but surely it wouldn't take more than a second hit. Unless this guy was stronger than he currently seemed.

Levy was tired. This was his third consecutive battle without end; and it just had to be against the smuggest looking brat he'd ever seen. After fighting Wren, he wasn't looking to do anything but survive the day and this little kid was proving to be a major inconvenience. Perrserker's IRON DEFENSE took the brunt of the physical attack then, but the damage was still enough to leave the feline reeling. Of course, his own attacks weren't exactly powerful against the tankier steel type. Levy recalled Perrserker then, releasing Centiskorch in his place.

"Inferno." The fiery centipede launched forward. Flames spilled out, circling the Metagross. The bug was one of his more aggressive types, enough to keep up better with the heat of the battle, but it was also a means to an end. Levy wanted out of this place and this kid wasn't going to stop him. For the time, he waited for the moment to break for it. "You're wasting my time, find somewhere else to play."

The Hammer Arm plowed into the Perrserker and sent it reeling. Much of the blonde's prediction was spot on...the Iron Defense saved it from being KO'd. The guy was smart enough to recall it, and sent out a Centiskorch instead. Good choice. But still not enough. "Double Team." Luckily, Magnet Rise made the use of Double Team much easier, allowing the steel meteor the glide along the ground. Multiple copies of Metagross showed up, moving in a circling pattern as the firebug did much the same. Inferno took out two of the six copies, but that was it. The Rocket member then uttered something curious. "I'm not here to play. I'm out for blood. Tell you what, let my Metagross or Trevenant smash your elbows so you'll remember them and maybe me each time you move them, and I'll let you escape for now. Promise to never come back here, and stick to it, and even if I see you elsewhere, I won't spare you a glance, and just mind my own business. But come back here, and I'll burn or crush you." All delivered in his patented stoic and cold monotone.

He doubted the Rocket would take it. Until the man made up his mind, Aaron was going on the offensive. "Psycho Cut." With a jump and turn, the big boy's real body was revealed, and fired four consecutive waves of slicing psychic energy at a downward angle while it was mid-air, with the express intention of chopping Centiskorch to pieces.

TLDR
Aaron answers Levy Alinsky with a deal. "Let me maim you, and never return, and you get to leave."
Metagross uses Double Team to evade Inferno, then counters with four Psycho Cuts aimed at CentiSkorch.

This guy was annoying and persistent, which was about as far from ideal as possible. His chances weren't good from the start, all of his pokemon had been spent well before the fight started and this guy marched in to announce victory? It was beyond grinding. The monologue and threat was enough to make him roll his eyes, although a pointless gesture behind the blank owl mask he was wearing. "You talk too much." He retorted, "A little advice, teenage edgelord, those that talk the most are those that have the least to say. You don't scare me."

Levy had spent far too long surviving with nothing to fear one that had so much. It was clear in the power of the other's pokemon exactly what he prized in life: Power. Winning and a sense of importance, it was clearly important for the kid. His apparent bloodlust wasn't admirable, his lack of care wasn't fear-provoking, it was simply sad. All Levy had ever known was losing, so this meant very little to him. Winning and losing didn't matter, it was a matter of survival. He had trained that into all of his pokemon, which was why when the psychic energy lashed out at Centiskorch, the bug did as all bugs did and squirmed. It evaded two of the attacks, before succumbing to the last two. Not enough to knock it clean out.

Having evaded towards the hulking steel pokemon, it lashed out this time with FIRE SPIN. This time, surrounding it on all sides. Maybe the kid could learn to suffer a little bit, then he'd understand actual strength.

Aaron snorted. This guy was quite amusing to him. But guess he'll just have to give the guy reason to be scared of this so called edgelord. Really? Of all things to call him, it was that? He wasn't even wearing dark clothes or jewelery! Nor did he have an emo haircut! Plus, calling him talkative? "This is probably the most I've talked all month. So take your own advice, grown ass edgelord." This syndicate certainly had all kinds, though most of them seem to be pretty snappy. In a way, it was kind of fun. If it weren't for the fact that they were destroying his town.

The fire bug squirmed and moved, able to avoid half of Meta's Psycho Cuts. The exchange wasn't completely in his favor though. Metagross got caught by a Fire Spin. A relatively weak fire type move, but had...lots of options for creativety that he learned. No matter, it was still a super effective hit, and trapped his Pokemon in a twirling flame. So no switching out...for now. "Psycho Cut." More glowing purple, and from the metal meteor came a single large slicing wave of horizontal psychic energy, low to the ground. Then a second one. Both did cut through the flames before they left the body. Hmmm....

TLDR
Aaron snaps back.
Metagross takes the Fire Spin and is trapped by flames, taking a little bit of damage from it as well as from the initial impact. Uses two Psycho Cuts, one lower to the ground, and another a little higher.

You're arguing with a child, Levy. He reminded himself upon the following remark. Obviously, there was no room for meaningful reflection or even intellectual banter, instead it was like talking to a brick wall. He wasn't entirely certain why the kid was this aggressive; and, frankly, it didn't really matter to him why. He very much doubted the other had the experiences to warrant the violence in his words. It did seem like he hit a nerve though which a pettier part of Levy smirked in response. "Aw, I'm sure it is, little buddy." In the mean time, he'd just continue treating him like he was five.

Next time, he was staying home and studying. That was the lesson learned today. Especially right before exams. Damn. He'd been really stupid, hadn't he? Oh well. Psycho cut slashes veered out through the whirlwind of flame and Levy barely avoided the lower one, he felt the dig like a knife in his calf. His hissed, dropping to a knee before forcing himself to stand again. A few seconds slower and well it would have made for an interesting fight inevitably.

The fire spin worked as to be expected, not exactly the strongest ability, but it didn't need to be. "Inferno." That metal had to be getting awfully hot, like a tin of popcorn.

He might not win this fight, in the long run, but he also didn't need to do that either.

Aaron shrugged at the guy. Whatever. He was out to sweep all the Rocket's Pokemon. Well, whatever he had left. He wasn't going to try to spar with the guy with words. Plus, it seemed like he was going to treat him like a toddler. No use trying to talk to people like that. Just focus on the fight at hand, and go from there. What did surprise him a tiny bit was that one of the Psycho Cuts zoomed past the Centiskorch and cut the trainer himself. Well, that was okay though. He did want blood after all. And it wasn't like he hadn't smashed someone's toes and fingers with a wooden mallet before. But to think that someone would twice use the same move on him was odd. Like really? Did they not communicate with each other?

"Psycho Cut just like before." It was tiresome to use the same move over and over again. But if it was effective...might as well continue. A vertical slash of energy zoomed towards the Inferno, splitting it half, the more powerful fire attack going to the sides harmlessly. Now it was to see if he could get rid of the flames. "Jump and aim Psycho Cuts downward. Disperse the flames and escape." The Metagross did exactly that, jumping up and splitting the flames with more Psycho Cuts to the extent that the flames started to disperse into embers. To the point that upon landing, the meteor moved out of them. Escape successful! Though it also gave the Centiskorch time to do something else to the steaming metal giant.

TLDR
One Psycho Cut to split the Inferno and become unharmed from it.
Still got hurt from residual Fire Spin.
Escaped Fire Spin with Multiple Psycho Cuts.

He ignored the heat of the wound or the wetness of what was likely blood. Let the kid have his taste of his so-desired violence. It didn't make any sense, but it was also a bit of a wake up call for himself. Never did he want to be so nonsensical as to crave violence that much. So much for League integrity, this kid was on the wrong side. That was unless he was full of shit and talking himself up, which was still highly possible. It wasn't like he hadn't done that when he was younger, snapping out like a cornered dog. That had been his life though, being forced into a corner and having to bite back. It hadn't always worked either. Sometimes, he had to lose. This tasted a lot less painful than those days.

Right then, the inferno was... cut in half? At that point, he was no longer in the mood to question physics. His leg hurt, he was tired, and personally, still reeling over the emotional pain of hurting his best friend's pokemon. He wanted out and that was just what he was going to do. He could have easily chose to continue attacking, but he knew when to quit. He knew that nothing could be solved by fighting this battle. The next inferno from Centiskorch was not aimed at the Metagross, but at the environment. Scorched earth exit, he decide as the surrounding structures and plantlife lit up in flames.
