A sharpedo, a garchomp, and a vikavolt... Ettie nodded and took a second to think over the named pokemon, as if to try and figure out whether she recognized any of the species names. Didn't Josh mention having one or two of them, at some point...? She'd certainly have to ask him about them sometime!
But, then came the question of Ettie's own pokemon - which had the wildchild perking up. "Ooh... Anne strongest!" Ettie spoke with a nod and a gesture towards the lycanroc in question. Given that Anne was the only fully evolved pokemon in Ettie's pack at present, and that she was more or less built for strength and endurance over speed, it was an easy answer.
"Princess strong, too!" Ettie added as she next gestured towards the Snubbull. Looks were decieving with Princess - not many thought much of her, given that she was an unevolved pokemon, on top of her seemingly-lazy nature. But Princess could pack quite a punch, all things considered - it just took actually motivating her to put it to work!
As for who was the fastest... Well, that was an easy answer, too! "Duchess fastest!" Ettie spoke - pointing towards the electrike. "Josh-friend says... When Duchess grow, Ettie can-ride!" She'd explain, visibly excited at the idea of being able to zip around on the back of a manectric. "And when can-ride, Josh-friend and Ettie race!" She was looking forward to when she'd be able to race against Josh Devlin , really - it sounded like it'd be fun to just see who could go faster; not unlike that of the thrill of the hunt, just minus the actual hunting.
As Bert dove down though, Ruffian - much like before - would attempt to meet the flapple head-on with a tackle of his own. But, he'd find himself tumbling back this time - fatigue from the Leech Seed and the fight as a whole starting to set in. Growling softly to himself, Ruffian would slowly get up onto his feet, panting though bared teeth - but he wasn't done (or at least, he liked to think that,) not yet..! Once he felt steady on his feet, he'd charge forwards at Bert once more - attempting to tackle him in a rough Take Down!
