Andrea was on her way to Rustboro City to visit Remiel Calcifet's biodome she'd heard so many good things about. The straight path along Route 115 was one that she had traversed countless times, but today was different: It was freezing cold outside, and the aforementioned path had been buried under a thick layer of snow.

Perhaps getting to Rustboro this time would prove to be a mini-adventure of its own!

Even though the entire route was covered in snow, Andrea could still make out the beach from afar. Old memories resurfaced, making her smile with nostalgia and regretful longing.

That was the same beach where she had trained Meatloaf; the same beach where Meatloaf had evolved.

Lost as she was in her recollections, the young woman failed to notice a tiny Goomy crawling past her, minding its own business.

A majestic Dratini suddenly jumped out of the water, only to jump back in. Andrea gasped in awe. That was a sight many wildlife photographers would kill to capture on film. She was too far from the beach to engage the small dragon in battle, but perhaps she could snap a picture of it when it resurfaced.

The amateur photographer pulled her Rotom Phone out and waited patiently, her mind solely focusing on this one task. When the Dratini jumped out of the water a second time, her finger moved quickly enough to snap the money shot.

The picture itself came out a bit blurry, but she was grateful to have experienced this brief, magical moment. Sometimes it was the small things in life that held the most value.

The young woman's MERRY trip down memory lane was coming to a close, Rustboro City's skyline becoming ever clearer in the horizon. However, this snowy route had one last surprise in store...

"M-Meatloaf?!" A startled Andrea blurted out. Of course it didn't take a genius to deduce that this was a different Shelgon, but it didn't lessen the initial shock of seeing one out in the wild. The dragon fanatic furrowed her brow resolutely. "You're not Meatloaf. But... You could still honor his memory."

She sent out her old reliable Kangaskhan, Missy, who immediately threw a Dizzy Punch. The ball-shaped dragon dodged it with surprising deftness, before retaliating with a vicious Headbutt that forced the large marsupial to stagger backwards.

"Singing should make it easier to catch!" Andrea exclaimed. Missy nodded, singing a beautiful lullaby that put both her baby and the opponent into a deep, peaceful sleep. With that, the young PokéManiac tossed a ball at the slumbering Shelgon, hoping for the best.
