While the Naganadel was occupied by Lars’ Pokemon, Fox was busy working on a way to escape. The pounding heartbeat of the Ultra Sea was a deep bass in his veins as he sprinted away, struggling to come up with an idea. Until.

“If it has a heart it has heart components?” he threw out, turning to look over his shoulder at Lars. Then Fox remembered who he was talking to-- a guy who literally was trying to sell him on human beings having magic Legendary powers-- and quickly shook his head, looking around him for-- for--

I hope.”

Maybe it was a good thing Fox didn’t see the scales that were growing on his arm and spreading across to his hand (the one that was holding the icicle ‘knife) because what was up with that? Scales? Down here?

He then made to scratch them, but realized that they were much harder than he thought. Definitely not like normal flesh and blood…

The Lucario barked out another warning, and actually skidded to a stop as he decided to risk a Meteor Mash on the approaching ~~Naganadel~~ Nagadaniels while the Silvally assisted as well with a peppering burst of Flamethrower, which gave Lars enough time to look at the two.

“Come on, don’t hang around any longer than needed, we have to fucking go!” he exclaimed as the two did their best—one Mega-evolved Pokémon and one pseudo-legendary duked it out against the purple, noxious-looking beast.

“Let’s fucking go!” he yelled as he recalled the Silvally but kept the Lucario alongside him as the stubborn one continued to pepper the obviously a Poison-type Pokémon with punches hard enough to shatter brick before he whistled exactly once.

The growling Mega-evolved Lucario then spat in the Naganadel’s direction, before booking it along with Lars as the two made their way out of the strange ‘cave’…

And the strange growth of scales on his arm still bothered him. What the hell was that?!

• hit prompt 09: the longer you stay, the more likely you will receive a temporary and horrific mutation (e.g. a barnacle growing on the skin, a patch of shell, etc.) that disappears upon your return to hoenn. (lars and the scales on his arm)
• Silvally used Flamethrower while Mega Lucario unleashed the fury of Meteor Mash on the Naganadel!
• recalled Silvally afterward and they continue running towards the exit!
• also hit an endeavor: use a gif that has a poison-type pkmn in your post!
