Growing up in the Unova Region, Elaina started her pokemon trainer journey with her Spiritomb that was given to her by her father. Despite it not being cute like a Pikachu or a Skitty, Elaina actually preferred it. There was something about Ghost-Type pokemon that made Elaina like them more than other types. She and her Spiritomb got along rather quickly. However in terms of actually deciding what she wanted to do in terms of a career proved to be harder than facing a Gym Leader, as she couldn’t decide on something that she wanted to do for the rest of her life. However, after a few years of relocating to the Hoenn Region, she learned about Pokemon Rangers - what they do on a daily basis was something that piqued her interest, so she decided to become a recruit. The training period was hard, however, she and her Spiritomb completed it nonetheless. She had only recently completed her training, making her a cadet ranger. The first mission that she did wasn’t anything all too dangerous. She was tasked to deal with a pokemon that was running around stealing food from a store in Slateport. The pokemon was a Zoroark, however, it was a lot different in appearance than what its Unovan form looked like. It was mostly all white with a bit of red in its fur, which was something that even Elaina herself hadn’t seen before. After a good fifteen minutes of chasing the Zoroark, Elaina ended up having her Spiritomb battling it, allowing her to catch the odd-looking pokemon, making it her second pokemon. Despite being new as a Ranger, Elaina is dedicated to her work and is hoping to one day be really good at her job. [break][break]
