Remiel is out patrolling ROUTE 115 again with a CERULEDGE of his own, CATALINA. CATALINA CALCIFET, to be exact: a Galarian princess who had once married a Paldean king, only to don her father's armor in disguise and fight against her husband's army. Needless to say, the ancient tale had ended tragically and bloody.

Though, somehow, Remiel had come to find the possessed armor on his doorstep shortly after the rifts had opened. Now they traveled together, keeping aggressive wild Pokémon at bay from the prince's estate, vineyard, and draciary.

the impidimp is swiftly spotted by theo, its pink and purple skin sticking out from the shades of green from the bush it finds itself hiding in. the moment ceruledge steps forward, the impidimp leaps out and attempts a FAKE OUT.[break][break]

it's a shame ceruledge is quick to take it, BITTER BLADE rising before coming down in a forawrd slash.[break][break]

A juvenile DRATINI appears to have slipped out of his draciary somehow. Remiel suspects the narrow passages of underwater tunnels beneath the territory. He takes note to commission more work on closing off the entry and exit points.

Nevertheless, Catalina does well to jump in and capture the little dragon before it escapes. An AQUA JET only gets it so far before it finds itself trapped in a dead end. Surrounded by rocks, it attempts to slither up them but is stopped by a PSYCHO CUT from afar. Afterward, Remiel pulls out a Luxury Ball to capture it.

a sneaky little INFILTRATOR of a cottonee manages to slip past his defenses. he doesn't see it until it's already by ceruledge's side coating it with its STUN SPORE. the ghost-type lowers to a knee, paralyzed.[break][break]

he pulls out the right berry and tosses it at his ceruledge. it splatters upon impact, juices flowing down ceruledge which cures it.[break][break]

but by then, the cottonee is long gone.

A BASTIODON stomps through the bushes and trees of the forest. It appears lost to Remiel, and roars at the man and his Ceruledge when it catches sight of them. Though it charges forward with the intent to land a HEAVY SLAM, however, Catalina strikes it with a BITTER BLADE.

The prehistoric beast crashes at Remiel's feet afterward. The prince then takes a moment to reach into his pack for an empty Luxury Ball. With a simple toss, he captures it.

He'd been deathly afraid of GRIMMSNARL as a child. His nanny used to read him all the most terrible fairy tales about it. Thankfully, he'd learned that most of them had no intention of kidnapping him simply because he was a naughty boy.

The one they came across now, however, was certainly coy. It attempted a FALSE SURRENDER when Catalina caught sight of it. Knowing better than to believe it, however, the Ceruledge strikes it down with a BITTER BLADE. Afterward, Remiel produces a Luxury Ball from his pack to capture the demon of myth.

the familiar glow of a HEAT CRASH alerts him of an incoming attack. he steps to the side, whistling in time to get his ceruledge to do the same. a rolycoly whizzes past them, missing its attack.[break][break]

but it does not stop there. it continues, attempting to SMACK DOWN but once again missing, ceruledge proving too fast for it.[break][break]

a SOLAR BLADE sends it away.

They reach the edge of the forest, where mountainside meets pine trees. Once there, however, a rampant PUPITAR attacks them with a ROCK THROW. Thankfully, Catalina is there to swiftly PSYCHO CUT the boulder in half.

Afterward, Remiel watches as the Pupitar loses its balance and topples over the edge of the cliff it sat on. It comes toppling down said cliff with thunderous thrashes, and the royal is forced to clear the area before it lands. When the dust settles, however, he finds the Pupitar unconscious and makes a swift capture of it with his Luxury Ball.
