She considered Parker's offer to accompany her back to the Rocket labs. She didn't need an escort. It was a simple teleportation. But...[break][break]
"Might as well join me," Nomi shrugged, trying to sound nonchalant. "If you don't have to rush off somewhere, I mean." She paused, eyeing the other woman. When Parker didn't immediately protest, Nomi quickly continued. "It's settled then, I'll take us back to headquarters."[break][break]
As she allowed Parker a moment to gather up her newly-mended team, Nomi made a mental note to ask for her protection again. The grunt had been quite useful to have around, in the end. Fierce, obedient, and quick. Oh, and nice to look at.[break][break]
