The look on Fernando's face as a new image popped up on screen was not lost on Nomi. As she read the next prompt, her cheeks reddened further in her own imagination and in the reality of her now quite warm office room.[break][break]
He leads her deeper into the labs? Exactly what she had been hoping for! Her heartrate sped up in excitement and she eagerly continued to read.[break][break]
His comment about her wellbeing gave her pause, however. How many times had she pushed herself too hard recently? She could recall many sleepless nights working through complex math sequences, hours of testing various Tera Crystals, and seemingly endless study sessions with fellow Rocket scientists. She'd been exhausted lately, but it was for a few very important causes. After all, there was so much to discover - if her project for SPECTRA was a success, it could give Rocket the edge they needed against the League and its known Avatars.
