How many more times would they find themselves traversing this electrical hellscape? It was just an injury in itself waiting to happen as they delved further in. Though as they entered into the subterranean level below, Gaultier found that it managed to power up if only slightly. Strange indeed, but they had used the aid of Xurkitrees to help power up the power station once again in their last venture. But it didn't seem as though the power was completely throughout their current space. But the silence that took over as Gaultier walked ahead, he could only hear the electrical currents that sounded more like haunting screams from human and pokemon alike. It sent a chill down his spine. Perhaps they weren't alone in this world? Or perhaps it was just a trick of the mind?

"Surely there must be a way to power up the rest of this place," he reasoned with the other two. "But where should we even begin?"

Perhaps his words were an attempt to push aside the haunting screams within the electrical currents, or perhaps he simply wished to know how and when they wanted to tackle the situation. The sooner they got out of here, the better. They'd barely managed to escape the last time. Had it not been for the faraday cages, however, they would have been no more than cinders much like the Megalopolan corpse (?) that Gaultier had discovered prior. For now, he decided his best route was to power through with his Aggron. Given its dual typing, it thankfully didn't manage to conduct electricity. However due to its slow approach, Gaultier attempted to keep a slower pace with it.

"I think given we've gotten more familiar with this environment, it wouldn't hurt to take one of these creatures along with us for further study."

It seemed like a selfish request, but a reasonable one. Gaultier didn't tend to beat around the bush, so he made his intentions clear so offer a sense of transparency to his fellow Rockets.

As long as Oscar knew what he was doing in that sense, Gaultier figured he could trust him to act as the leader. But the three seemed to do best doing their own thing. With the promise of attracting ultra beasts to their location, Gaultier could only give a nod. That was perfect. They needed to lure them in so they could properly choose one to their liking. He was quick to turn to Gerald and flash a rather bitter smile.

"I believe I have a Stakataka to tame out there. I'm still rather bitter the creature simply left. How about you?"

This question was guided to both men. From what he understood, Oscar already had a Xurkitree, but perhaps he could use a Stakataka? Or even double down on the Xurkitree. Though Gerald himself was a bit of an enigma. Perhaps he liked it that way. Gaultier did enjoy the silent company but it felt odd being the only one really talking in the pair. He sneered as he saw Oscar practically skip about in excitement. It seemed the man was in his element, and Gaultier could respect that.

The sounds of thumping much like a drum sounded overhead, as though something large managed to hammer its way through. He assumed they were safe. For now, at least. But as he brought his attention down to the lower level of the power grid, he cocked a brow.

"And how do you suppose we'll go about reconnecting the circuits? I suppose this will be your job given you're the most experienced with these sorts of things. If it suits Gerald, I suppose it'll be on us to ward off the ultra beasts and any other danger that looms."

Thankfully he had his Aggron at the ready.

Gaultier nodded at Oscar's explanation. It sounded simple enough, and he was grateful the man didn't make his words too complicated. After all, Gautier wasn't exactly a technological genius -- he knew what he needed to know, but didn't go further than what was necessary for work or personal use. But before he could voice his concerns, Oscar took off with his Genesect. He turned his attention to Gerald and jerked his head towards the direction the other had gone off in.

"Let's try not to get left behind, shall we?"

With that said, Gaultier hurried foward with his Aggron in tow. Although Oscar had certainly sped on ahead, it seemed one of the fragmented bits of the board posed a threat. A loose electrical wire swung around haphazardly. Gaultier jumped back just in time, holding an arm out to make sure Gerald himself stayed back. It seemed they'd have to somehow avoid this. Before Gaultier could formulate a plan, his Aggron gripped the wire and took the electrical current.

"Ah, non! Mauvais!"

He had begun to chide the Aggron, but soon fell silent. The creature had done so to protect both trainers. How valiant of it. Gaultier looked at the Aggron who withstanded the electrical shock and gave a nod. In the meantime, he took the Cell Battery they'd brought along and placed it against the Aggron to charge the battery. He soon handed it off to Gerald, then made his way across the path. It seemed as though his Aggron couldn't hold onto the electrical wire for much longer, so if Gerald wanted to get through, he had to go now.

"Go on ahead of me, I'll catch up. I need to make sure my Aggron is alright."

Unfortunately it seemed the electrical current had did a number on his Aggron. The poor creature had eventually fainted and Gaultier was forced to call the creature back. Once the circuit board seemed to be connected thanks to the work of Gerald with Oscar's guidance, Gaultier felt the place shake. They weren't kidding when they said that the ultra beasts would come huh! Gaultier took it upon himself to rush forward and meet with the other two men. At least he could double down on his stride given he didn't have to worry about his Aggron lagging behind.

But as he reached the two, his eyes widened in horror at the sight of the Regieleki that began to rise from the power spot itself. How were they going to take on this thing?! Gaultier breathed in and drew out his Kommo-o. It would have to suffice for now to take on the creature given hsi Aggron was out of commission for the time being. But as Kommo-o went in for a strike, the Regieleki swung and sent the dragon flying, to which it crashed into a nearby wall. Thankfully for its sake, the Kommo-o was able to stand up from the rubble.

Though from the sounds of it, a few ultra beasts had begun to rush in. Stakataka crumbled down from above, smashing through the ceiling. Xurkitree crawled their way through the holes that the Stakataka had provided. It seemed they were surrounded. Gaultier figured it best to double down and bring two hard-hitters out. Joining his Kommo-o was his Falinks.

"Seems we've got our hands full here, gentlemen! Let's get to work and try to take some of these intruders out."

It wasn't long until he chose to teratalize his Falinks to try and combat some of the miscellaneous beasts.

From the looks of things, they were once more on a time restraint. Though given the way the ultra beasts fled from the Regieleki, Gaultier took the opportunity to attack one of the Stakataka with his Falinks. The troupe used Close Combat on the rock formation to slow it down, and threw a poke ball. However the moment that he threw the ball, a fleeing Xurkitree managed to cross paths with the trajectory of his toss and would up being drawn in by the ball.

It seemed with this instance, he'd have to return at some point to get the true creature he was after. Gaultier clenched his teeth in frustration at this fact. Alas, they had to get moving.

Gaultier picked up the pokeball and focused his attacks to help take down the Regieleki. It seemed the Ultra Beasts had no need for them, and with one in his own collection now, Gaultier no longer needed to focus on them. His Falinks charged forward with a Tera Blast to attempt and weaken the Regieleki some more.
