When she auditioned for the role of Veronica Sawyer, Genevieve had no idea it would lead to the studio in Lilycove. Even more, when she herself wasn't given the role of Veronica Sawyer, but Genny, the sweet little bean she is, was asked to play the role of Heather McNamara instead.[break][break]

It was one thing to sing Beautiful, when she herself wasn't sure if she could hit the range. It's quite another to be asked to sing Candy Store with the accompanied and prolific Melody, to which left Genny a mess.[break][break]

How was she supposed to know that one of her heroes, one of the most powerful women of Hoenn, would be here, no less to help bring it out of her?! To help with tone, with practice, to learn how to bring it out of her. How to get the singing voice down. She wasn't professionally trained, but years in choir at least helped her hone it a little. But.[break][break]

This was nerve-wracking. So when she sits now, on the bench of the Lilycove Studio, awaiting her new coach for the role, she's quivering and shaking. McNamara was no Chandler, thankfully, and didn't need that much range comparatively, but it's less the singing-[break][break]

And more that Melody was going to get to walk in this very studio to the most mousy version of Genevieve alive.[break][break]

She was trying to breathe, but it was not coming easy, and as she sits alone in the studio, listening to the song over and over in her earbuds, she can't help but shake. She's not even looking at the door.[break]

Melody smiled, she LOVED the theater, the drama, the music, the performances? It was all so entoxicating...she guessed that was why she had even built this concert hall to begin with. Not only did it get used for musical performances, but it could also turn into a stage for plays to be played on. [break][break]

It's why she also donated some of her time to help potential talent rise to their top heights. She had heard whispers and hushed voices that this girl held some real potential but that she was missing that little..OOMPH that this role required, but Melody wasn't one to just sit on the sides and let talent like that fall by the wayside. [break][break]

So she had arranged this little get together. The doors bust open with a dramatic flair as Melody walks in "Hello hello!" she chimes in her usual peppy cheer as she looks to see who the potential little starlet was. She immediately spots genevieve and walks over to her. "Are you miss Cromwell?" she says immediately taking the girl's hands and placing them both into her own and shaking them up and down. Her Herdier barking from down the hall as Maksim came RUNNING into the room and plopped his butt right in front of genieve. His tail moving so quickly it seemed he was dusting that one specific spot with it.
