Another Pokemon, this one looked... strange? Was that a Rotom? For a moment, Akira's eyes would almost sparkle upon seeing it. It reminded her of her childhood, growing up with technology... Her dad used to have Rotom.[break][break]

Without thinking, she would throw her pokeball at the pokemon.[break][break]

Oh, right. Someone was here with her. "So- one could say I'm vibing as well I suppose..."

Mage arched a darkly lined eyebrow playfully, inviting the lady to speak more. Mage could see stories where they flickered in the hearts of people. He had his own, too, and he was happy to exchange snippets.

"I guess you can say I'm here to explore too. All the way from Johto."

Could she tell? Did it come through in his accent? Mage always wondered how much he could detach himself from the cursed soil of his home.

"I'm Mage. You?"

He shifted his attention from her momentarily to snag a Mr Mime with a slickly thrown Pokeball.

"Nice to meet you too, Aki." Mage nodded. He wondered why Aki's speech started and stopped like she was trying to walk with her shoelaces tied together. What was it that she was trying to maintain or hide?

Mage wondered if he should pry. Before he could address that thought, a pink blobby ghost materialised next to him, probably because he was the darkest creature on the route. Mage sneered at it and smashed a Pokeball down on its rose pink head.

"Where are you from, Aki?"
