Unfortunately for Sunny, a Worry Seed leaves him feeling off, as he paws at his arms, and stares down, attempting his best to jump up and down. It didn't affect his speed, but looking at the Pumpkaboo, his eyes go big, as he charges at the tree ghost.[break][break]

And pulls him into a hug. That was so cool! He didn't feel his normal type difference![break][break]

Ashley laughs at that, knowing Sunny is too sweet to hurt a new friend. "Don't sweat it. Sunny is setting up Agility for an enemy. They come interrupt us, they won't be able to hit him." He smiles, giving the bunny a thumbs up, who returns it in kind, hanging from the ghost tree trunk happily. "Nearly took out my friend's Metagross."[break][break]

To Mint, he rubbed the back of his head, a laugh that sounded a little troubled. An earlier Interdream provided a lot of context to Mint, and he couldn't blame him, but Ashley sighs. "Nah. He does best the way he is, you feel?" He chuckles, thinking to their mission against Josh. Left to his own devices, he's one of the smartest in the cave.[break][break]

Seeing that he wanted to find someone, Ashley nods. Knowing the same was true for him. He had find whoever he could. Jayden fixed him up, but there were people down here that needed help. He could push through the pain. But the confirmation to have first round of drinks on Milo has him smirk.[break][break]

"You're on, cowboy. I'll invite that redhead you're super sweet on too." He's smug, knowingly how likely that'll go, but knows damn well that it's mostly (MOSTLY) a joke.[break][break]

Whoever that redhead was, he was sorry in advance.[break][break]

Getting to his feet, he whistles, and with it, Sunny hops and skips back to him, as Ashley turns back towards Milo. A serious face.[break][break]

"Friendly advice. Get out while you can. This is war. I'll train you to be ready for it next time, but... nothing can train you for war, Sharpe. I lost two today."

The thought of further friendly fire didn't sit right with him. Milo tucked away his Pumpkaboo, setting the ball against a magnet on his wallet chain. He then pulled out his Espurr. His cat with the thousand yard stare.

"...I suppose I should prepare too. Are there any rest spots? Neutral grounds where we can go take a nap? I've slept on a few floors in my day, but this is a lot.”

Milo did a little gesture, making a square with his hands. Espurr held a Reflect for the two of them, incase they were in fact ambushed. Thoughts of Mint were... admittedly faint. Milo was rather drunk and belligerent that day. He couldn't help but nod; there was no way he wasn't a real threat.

Milo then laughed with him. He'd nudge him with his elbow, were it not clear he needed to lie down for a while. Frankly, if Ashley looked closely enough, he could see dried blood just under his nose. A parting gift from the time he got rowdy with Kouji.

"I'll be on my best behavior."

With his warning, he couldn't help but nod. Milo wanted to bluster. To say he was nothing but trouble, and he'd fight anyone. But... he had people he wanted to live for now. Milo bit his lip.

"It's already too late to get out. When I was working with Luka, there were not two, but three crates. I peered in the one, and saw it was full of food and medical supplies. It's gonna be a battle of attrition. On the other hand, if we see her on the field again... I can lie and get her on my side again."

Milo's words hung in the air a moment. Already too late. It leaves a conflicted look in Ashley's silvers that take a moment to adjust, eyes downcast. His mind goes back to Bass and Jelly. Both the Noivern and the Bewear that would never smile his way again. Not alive, anyways. He turns his head.[break][break]

"Not what I meant." He wipes at his eyes, nodding quietly. It takes him a moment to speak, a lump in his throat. His heart hurt. But with a forced smile, he turns back Milo's direction.[break][break]

"Sunny. Over here." The Scorbunny's eyes perk up, and he races towards Ashley, hopping onto his shoulder, as Ash places his hands in his pocket.[break][break]

He takes a moment to look Milo over once more.[break][break]

"Look forward to that first round, Sharpe. I mean that. Try to stay alive until then." Painful as it is to walk, Ash does head the direction they came from, to ensure no Leaguer attempts to attack the guy. It was the job of the higher-ups to protect those learning, after all. He'd ensure Milo could grow.[break][break]

Even if Ash didn't want that for the guy.
