INTRODUCTORY BLURB

”Lead them to a tomorrow you will never see.”

War changes a man. Navy has been neck-deep in the Rocket/League conflict for the better part of a year now. In that time, he has almost lost the use of his left arm, been aged by a Space/Time rift, and died for the League's cause. Once a humble private detective, he now serves Dahlia Goode's League on the frontlines.[break]
It is hard to say he proudly serves, at least in a private capacity. He doubts the good intentions of many within the League. Like any government, there are people motivated by self-interest. Still, he thinks selfish politicking and ego-pushing is vastly preferable to the alternatives. He sees Rocket as inherently selfish, pushing a world where Rocket is on top and everyone else suffers beneath their rule.[break]
So, he fights. No matter when the call is given, he answers.

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

-Zacian's Avatar. The aftermath of Hyperborea was heavily publicized and there is no hiding that he has forged a pact with Zacian.

-Goes by 'Sheriff Navidson', 'E4 Navidson', 'Gym Leader Navidson', or simply 'Navy'. Seems to avoid using the name Michael.[break]

-Appointed Gym Leader and Sheriff of Dewford in May 2023. Also simultaneously holds one of the region's Elite Four seats. Assumed that role January 1st, 2024.[break]

-Childhood friends of kyle lopez and Jett Roan.[break]

-Had a younger brother named Gabriel Navidson, who was 8 years younger than Navy. Died in the Sootopolis takeover.[break]

-In his role as an Elite 4, he is a fighting-type specialist. His gym had a focus on dragon pokemon and warfare.

-Often featured on League recruitment posters since being recruited into AQUA.[break]

-While not a ranger, his duties as Dewford's sheriff often overlap with ranger work. Dewford's ranger station is understaffed.[break]

-Was in a relationship with Melody Miro, though it seems to have ended.

LEAGUE KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION

-During his time in Galar, he assumed the guise of Lord Navidson, Pale Rider. He rode Spectrier across Galar, helping settlements keep in contact with one another. He also supposedly married Melody Miro.[break]

-Has traveled extensively through the Ultra Deep Sea, being the first person to reach the core. Afterwards, he helped mine a tremendous quantity of ore from Eternatus's organ.[break]

-Thanks to the above, he has come to believe that Hoenn's greatest threat is Eternatus. He says as much to anyone who will listen.[break]

-Is feuding with MATIAS SILPH. The two fought during an extraction mission. Details are scarce, but it is known that four of Navy's Pokemon died.[break]

-Has a history of helping Rocket defectors. Helped Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki escape Kanto, sheltered Isaac Merlo in Dewford after his defection, and is very close to Eris Halla. Wholeheartedly believes in the amnesty program.[break]

-Was KIA by Cillian Quinn during Resurfaced Treasure. Kyle revived Navy with his avatar powers.

ROCKET KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION

-Despite being a thorn in Rocket's side, he is an outspoken critic of the League.[break]

-During the events of Resurfaced Treasures, he saved the lives of Elisabeth Fiorelli, Tempest Quinn, and howard slayte.[break]

-Despite talking a big game, seems reluctant to kill Rockets.

PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE

PERSONAL SECRETS

-Murdered his father by cutting his brakes. This also led to his mother's death. The only two people who know this are DESIREE BLOOMS and Eris Halla. The deaths were ruled an accident.[break]

-May or may not have a child with Anastasya Morozova.[break]

-Keeps a whole mess of secrets from the League. He knows both Eris Halla and Hideo Kino are protecting Mesprit and Uxie. Often meets Rocket agents and doesn't make any serious attempt to arrest them. Didn't tell anyone about saving the lives of Rockets during Resurfaced Treasure.
