Melody had finally been given new information to deliver the people in the cave. [break][break]

She had been waiting around to see who would be accompanying her since she was told to not go back alone and that someone would be assigned to assist her with getting that information back to the field. The name didn't sound familiar to her so she was excited to see who the colorful character would be. [break][break]

After all, it took a crazy person to agree with entering an active warfield.

Jett was in the heat of battle, another journey, and a chance to see another realm, there was never another way for him to go about this. His Cyclizar underneath him, in its bicycle form, as he went through the cave; it slipped past him, and he knew that what was to come would only get more and more complex. It was a warzone, but he was fine with something like that, he wasn’t the strongest, but he might not be able to face kyle lopez, if he didn’t take part in this.

He curved into the meeting point, just a little late. ”Sorry about that one Darl, a bit of traffic; I hear there’s a big event, and a lot of people wanting to get some front row seats.” He said as he stepped off it, sending his pokemon back into the pile. This was a famous face, and he wasn’t a stranger to it either.

”Hey, I’m Jett Roan. Nice to meet one of the famous elite four.” His voice was even, calm. ”I’ll be the one supporting ya, so between the two of us, this’ll be nice and easy.”

Her primarina slithered out from behind her, waving at the man and saying her own name to him a million times. " I'm Melody! Nice to meet you. This is my partner, primarina but she goes by Ariel." she says as she looked over towards the direction they needed to head in, already spotting some rockets. "What's your preferred style? Silent or do you wanna go in guns blazing?" she asks wondering what kind of approach he'd want to take.

Jett looked from melody to Primarina. ”You’ve seen my buddy, Bubby, the Cyclizar. I’m gonna let him rest up a little.” He wanted to judge it as the best option, but all in all. ”If we go in guns blazing, we can take some heat off our guys, and it’ll make for a good story next time we go out with buddies.” His voice was even, it wasn’t as if he was stating it as a joke.

”Plus I doubt Bubby and Ariel would enjoy sneaking around.” He said as he considered what they would have to deliver. ”What kinda info are we bringing?”

"Any good idol should be flexible you know." she says giving him a little wink. "Even if it isn't your normal genre. But I agree, guns blazing it is." [break][break]

She smiles as Primarina agrees with her and Jett. "Top secret stuff, we think we know where rocket is gonna be trying to go within the realm and I need to inform the captains over in the field." [break][break]

She walks forward, moving towards the cave slowly as her expression changes to be more serious as she was begining to strategize. "Who else is on your team? besides your cylizer. I have Primarina, Magearna, chatot and my Mr.Rime. I also have a special pokemon with me who will show up if necessary." she says allowing him to get a pictrue of his team. Although magearna was a newer pokemon that was discovered in the mecha kingdom, the other ones aside from cobalion should be ones this guy knew. [break][break]

She could feel Cobalion's emotions as he was rather close, probably waiting to come when called as he knew she was fighting for the future of the pokemon in the region. [break][break]

"League's pretty short handed in every aspect so thank you for lending your aid." she says as her smiley expression returns to her face, fitting her features much more than if she was serious.

Any idol huh? Jett wasn’t sure if that was true, there was a level of flexibility in life one needed to reach the peak of a field, and this person had done so in two. A strong trainer, and an idol at the pinnacle, that was unique. He was someone who ran away from such things. ”It’s nothing. Either I do this, or i drink, smoke and ride out underneath a bridge, so it’s a good way to spend my day.” He shrugged it off, it was like many things for him, not that important.

”Bubby, my Cyclizar, but there’s my Scyther, my Remoraid, my Ralts, and my Honedge.” His theme was that of weapons, to treat living creatures similar to tools was a strange thing, but at the same time, he loved all the very few possessions he had. That was why he patted his pokeballs.

”They’re not all that strong, but they work well together.” He wasn’t a hardcore trainer, but he had experiences, and well, with some of the people he had grown up with, he’d learned a trick or two.

”Where they’ll go? So someone found that out huh? That’s a big’un, all this rocket crap goes over my head, but do you hate the other side? It’s basically a battlefield all over hoenn nowadays.” It was a direct question, Jett understood that, but all the same; it allowed him to not linger on thoughts for at least a little while.

She smiles "Trust me, there are pokemon who are babys that are as strong as a final evolution pokemon. They grow as strong as the amount of work you put into raising them.".[break][break]

as they get closer to the cave they suddenly spot some rockets that had been watching them already. [break][break]

"I hate them." she replies "Not all of them are bad, but there hasn't been a single rocket I've met that hasn't tried to ruin my life in some way." she answers as she runs her fingers through her hair and Melody's primarina slides in front of her as her the SYGNASUIT activates and Melody's emotional connection to Primarina raises their stats, specifically her SPECIAL ATTACK[break][break]

The rockets clammor as they realize who it is in front of them and she just grins as she strikes a pose "Ariel! Let's give them a taste of your Aria!" she shouts as suddenly a barrage of bubbles flies out from Primarina's maw as it uses SPARKLING ARIA.

”I betcha I’ll hear the answer from all the ones you run into.” Jett had a simple thought on it, and his words were just as simple. ”I ain’t much of a warring man, but I see it. A lotta the guys I grew up with are rockets, and a lotta them are normal folk.” He said as he walked, the info was important, but at the same time, there it came.

Enemies, he took out his pokeball, going for Scythe before he went for Cyclizar, this was the pokemon he saw himself battling with the most. He could have gone for Remoraid, but he knew better.

”Aight Garlette, hit show them how you move.” His Scyther danced in the air, a triple roll as it soared towards their pokemon, one of which was a direct competitor, Pinsir and Scyther met in a dance.

"Oooo nice one." she says as she watches the scyther dance with his partner in the air. She decides to help move things in his favor as she sends out her chatot. "Iago, Allegro. Ariel let's set the stage." she says as suddenly a TAILWIND is whipped up that helps Jett's scyther move faster as his SPEED was increased. [break][break]

Ariel the primarina begins to leak pink MISTY TERRAIN from her body and they condense it to their side of the battle field to ensure that they wouldn't become under the effects of any battle effects. "I'll let you lead this dance then, lets see how he dances."

”You’re too kind, aight Garlette, don’t let the other girls down, yeah?” He said with a smirk. His Scythe moved in the air, a Pinsir came to stop her in the air, but the dance, moving alongside the moving winds to cut around her, a dance. That was the only thing that could be called, it was the most important thing.

Garlette’s movements were smooth, avoiding the fury swipes in a series of calm movements, her beating wings allowed her to drift in the air, her scythed’ hands moved upwards, as she did her spin, joining together before she slashed down onto the wings of the enemy Pinsir. She kicked below as she bent her knees, and did a low spin, and then finally slashed up with her final movement, Acrobatics, a dance of rapid attacks further bolstered by the aid in which she received.

”Alright, now support the rest.” He gave a command, it was simple, straight forward, and comfortable. His Scyther had always been a graceful pokemon, but he knew that there were some things she wouldn’t be helpful in, especially with the upcoming rock Pokemon, a Golurk that rolled into the foray.

”It’s up for you now, don’t worry, Garlette won’t let more sneak up on ya. Lead dancers switch between acts if I’m right?”

He was a cheeky one wasn't he? She liked it. [break][break]

"They do!" she says placing her hands together as she walks forward, her hips swaying side to side. Her Primarina sits back and Chatot as well as she sends out her Mr.Rime. [break][break]

Mr Rime begins to tap rhytmically as Golem charges up a shadow ball and Mr. Rime stands still to take it before suddenly the SHADOW BALL explodes and Mr.Rime was suddenly behind the golem as chatot flaps its wings and sqwuaks revealing Mr. Rime switched with ALLY SWITCH. [break][break]

The spot he touched began to freeze as it was evident the pokemon used FREEZE DRY to encase the pokemon partially in ice as it tried to wiggle free.

Jett looked at the dance of attacks, switching sets; moving positions, changing of center-stage. All of it looped into a performance of elegant violence, He and Garlette were mere stage-hands in this dance, and they would aid as best as they could. Garlette was a vibrant pokemon, she was made for this kind of scene, but he was not, this wasn’t his scene, but that was fine.

He would allow her to enjoy herself, with her kind. ”Alright, don’t let them run, use Pursuit.” He said as she began to dive in, cutting out the route of escape, dark energies flowed from her; but that was just the first line of the box that was made.

”Alright, come out.” He took out his Remoraid, the fish pokemon settling in his hands, shaped as a revolver. ”Lock-On.” He commanded, but he didn’t fire just yet. It was fine, it was simple.

”It’s all you.” He’d support in his own way, the way of a man who sat on the edge of the law.

And so she did take center stage as Melody and Primarina deactivate the sygnasuit as she suddenly feels a surge of energy through the two as she begins to dance as she plays music from her portable speaker. The rockets swarm her in mass as they try to rush her but it's too late, she does a small little spin with her arms wide open as she had planned for them to do this when they realized who she was. She unleashes her z-move CRASHING CRESCENDO as the aquatic song slams into ALL of her opponents, the sound waves causing them to fly into the air. "Go!" she says cheering on the remoraid who had used LOCK-ON, surely he'd follow up and Melody was excited to see.

He had no choice, after a showing like that, neither he nor Remoraid could hold down that surge, maybe it was the music, maybe it was the natural flow, or maybe it was because Remoraid was chomping at the bits to utilize the move it was holding down, a large surge of water, Jett braced himself as Remoraid shot out a torrent of water, thick, fast, and powerful, it was Hydro Pump.

It struck their opponents, an absolute attack in a strange sense, the perfect teamwork of pokemon and trainers who had met only a few moments ago had sent them scattering, the falling droplets of water, the crashing sound waves, the ice that lingered, and the tailwind in the air gave rise to a natural rainbow within the space of this place.

”Hm, I guess that’ll do. How’d we do on support?” Jett said with a smile as he looked at the decrescendo of a fight after all of that, it was to be expected, but; he couldn’t help but notice just how much of a difference there was between him and the trainer that he was paired with.
