El wasn't sure how the fighting in Ultra Deep Sea had ended. They didn't really stick around any camps long enough to hear the news - at the time, all they were focused on was making sure that no one had been left lost or abandoned in the tunnels. That the hurt were mended, that those who needed out were sent to the camp that Isaac Merlo had set up, near the very same rift that they had fallen into at the beginning of the whole mess.

Ultimately, it was only when the effects of Ultra Deep Sea became too strong, and when El stopped finding anyone after both factions had withdrawn, that they left. And when they did, it was to go to a very particular spot in Petalburg Woods.

It was in a clearing, where the sunlight of the rising morning could filter in between the trees and canopy. Deep within the woods like this, it was peaceful and quiet - the only sound being the distant gurgle of some creek. The mound of earth in the center of the clearing had been obviously disturbed - a deep hole having been dug, and then filled back in, with something buried as far beneath the surface as El and their pokemon could reasonably manage.

Namely, the body of ana fell 's Sima.

It made a nice resting place, El figured - being in the woods that the hydreigon loved, and being far away from any of those who would disturb it. There was just one thing that they felt was missing, though... Which was flowers.

El didn't have any flowers or bouquets on hand - but what they did have was a packet of seeds, particularly of the Gracidea variety. Which, planting flowers felt a lot more meaningful than leaving picked ones - these would be longer lasting, after all. And surely, local bug-types like Beautifly would appreciate getting to pollinate them, too!

So carefully crouching down to the earth - with Behemoth and Yggy both helping in digging little holes - El would begin their work, planting the seeds one by one.
