There was a great bounty to be had in the Safari Zone this season. A great number of Pokémon that could prove beneficial to Remiel's battling party had emerged in mass. The moment the Galarian had heard about them, he'd made haste to purchase his ticket and leave.

Apart from his catching hunt, however, Remiel would make the most of this trip by training KUSANAGI as well. The SHINY KARTANA was deadly, no doubt. But its skills remained unrefined and in need of more on-field practices.

The ROOKIDEE they soon encounter invites the origami-like being to a dance. Kusanagi, of course, accepts this invitation. They twirl and spin in the air together in unison for a while before, ultimately, the Rookidee's aggressive nature kicks in. Almost seamlessly, their dance becomes a fight that Remiel can hardly keep track of.

A PECK does little in the face of a PSYCHO CUT, however. The Rookidee falls from the sky unconscious afterward. Feeling pity for it, Remiel draws an empty Luxury Ball from his pack and captures it.

The AXEW tries in vain to strike the airborne Kartana with a DRAGON CLAW. It's really quite funny to see it try and jump so high. When it takes notice of Remiel's presence, however, it angrily glares.

Before it can rush over to attack him, however, Kusanagi sweeps up the little dragon in a VACUUM WAVE. The Axew hits a tree branch on the way back down before falling unconscious. Afterward, Remiel produces a Luxury Ball to capture it.

The NINCADA attempts to foolishly BUG BITE the Kartana that flits around. While the attack might have done severe damage, however, Kusanagi is quick to blow the bug away with an AIR SLASH. It RUNS AWAY when it regains its bearings again.

Remiel might have chased after it if he was in need of more for his draciary. Alas, he was not. So the two move along towards the next sector in the Safari Zone.

The GALARIAN FARFETCH'D seems to COVET the ease with which Kusanagi flies. When it attempts to whack the Kartana down out of the sky with its leek, however, combat ensues. It takes a well-placed PSYCHO CUT to strike it down.

Remiel had watched this battle take place from the sidelines. Once he's certain the Farfetch'd is unconscious, he draws closer and retrieves a Luxury Ball from his pack to capture it. Afterward, the two continue their trek through the Safari Zone.

The HONEDGE seems like the perfect opponent for Kusanagi. The two Pokémon face-off against each other in a grassy clearing in the forest. Remiel watches from the sidelines with his arms crossed.

The former is the first to act with a SHADOW SNEAK. The attack that follows is DETECTED and parried, however. A PSYCHO CUT follows that renders the Honedge unconscious. Afterward, Remiel pulls out a Luxury Ball to capture it.
