She arrived in evergrande on her Noivern, ignoring the thunder storm brewing in the clouds, as soon as her foot hits the ground, the rain begins. However she didn't care, she had to resolve what she had learned in that fucking game now. [break][break]

She runs off, leaving her noivern behind "Ollie!" she shouts from down the hall, counting the numbers until she saw his. "OLLIE!!" she shouts as she begins to bang on the door and then stepping back, the rain still pelting her like pins and needles with the freezing cold. "Open..open..." she spoke outloud to no one.

Days had been bleak ever since the meteor crash. Or the not-crash. Whatever it was, ranger jobs had been at an alltime high and many of them were still recovering from the impacts. Even though the ball hosted by GIDEON GRAVES and PENELOPE LIVY had been helpful, it still did little when it came to cleaning up their respective cities. That had to be done first-hand, and most of that work was left to the Rangers.

[break][break] willow atkins had wanted him to stay longer, but Ollie said he couldn't.

[break][break] The Ranger Captain entered his house, stripping himself of his rainboots and gear before stepping into the shower. When he arrived moments later, his muscles were sluggish yet content, steam lapping out of the shower. He was still halfway done rebandaging himself when there was a sudden knock at his door.

[break][break] Alarmed, Ollie stood up. He scrambled to the door and pulled it open, eyes wide. Was it another Ranger? Was it Josh Devlin again, with reports —

She was mad, angry, sad, upset the influx of emotions she had begged to be able to feel in the past all surging and coursing through her body at the moment, quickly wishing they'd be removed again. "Why?!" she says pulling her hand back as if she was about to strike him before she hits her own thigh instead.

You shove him. Then he trips, falling into a cavern that you can't see the light into.

He pulls her inside and she gets angry at him as his face becomes a frown, mad at her for doing this. Her anger spikes, her closed fist opens into a flat palm as she slaps him across the face. "That VIDEO GAME knows things about me I've NEVER told anyone else." she says as tears form on the edge of her eyes. [break][break]

Blood rushed to her hands as her palm was red from using the force. "Don't dodge the fucking question," She pauses as she pulls her hand back into a fist. "Oliver." she NEVER used his real name on him, she knew he didn't ever go by it but she was serious. "Tell me why it perfectly explains everything then? It knew about the christmas party, it knew about my private past, why shouldn't I assume it was right about you too?"

He catches her hand from slapping him, the Paldean in her wanting to use her free hand to strike at him while he was distracted. Melody frowned but her features softened when she saw him get angry back at her as he told her to let him explain when she wouldnt be so angry. [break][break]

She mulls it over, her expression still conveying anger, dissapointment, some form of resentment. But, she eventually replies. "Fine." she says letting herself in as she brushes past him into the living area. She plops onto the nearest most comfortable seat as he leg shakes non-stop as she had to channel her emotions into some form of behavior or she'd explode. "You get 5 minutes of uninterrupted silence. You better make it count, Ollie."

it had been a long enough time since their christmas dinner that ollie had to gather his thoughts again. he'd already made up for ghosting her back when they'd saved that tinkaton, but he also didn't blame her for being still upset about it. especially when he hadn't explained anything to her at all.

She stares at him, her face turning red as she is first embarrassed that he knew that and on top of that, why the FUCK did MATIAS SILPH involve himeslf. After the five minute mark passes, Melody speaks. "I-" she says trying to find that words. [break][break]

"So let me get this straight, Matias tells you not to hurt me and you turn around and ghost me?" she asks out loud as she presents his behavior right in his face to not allow him to run away. "and he had NO right to tell you that." as she begins to shake her foot as tears fill her face, she moves away from him on the couch and turns her body to keep her back to him. [break][break]

"it's not that simple," ollie argued. frustration welled up on him, wanting melody to understand. really understand.

[break][break] it wasn't that he was ghosting her. he had just been giving her space. because he hadn't wanted her to get her expectations up, hadn't wanted her to think... exactly what she ended up thinking.

[break][break] "i didn't ghost you - or at least, i didn't mean to. i just thought - i'm not good for you melly. i'm not the person you want me to be."

She tries to tell herself he had good intentions, they always did. But there was one key factor that seemingly everyone held for melody. [break][break]

"It's not that simple, I'm not good for you, it was for the best?" she repeats back to him, like a parrot almost, without the intent to mock. "I've always found it funny how everyone around me just decides what's best for me..." She had begun to feel like she was being treated like a child ever since she had gained her own free will, everyone around her deciding things for her, arguing against her own decisions.[break][break]

She looks at the wall instead, unable to want to even look at Ollie in the eye as her emotions began to overwhelm her, she continues to shake her leg trying to let out her frustration however possible as she pulls away from him trying to wipe away her tears. [break][break]

"Why? Why do you want to stay friends Ollie? I had to pull teeth to get you to even go on a mission with me..why should I believe you that you're being honest now about that?"
