The creature Ashley had summoned wasn't anything like Naia had seen before, the precision and crude way in which it was attacking and ripping into it's opponents only further add to it's ferocity. The gap between between Naia and Ash was far wider than she could ever imagine from how quickly he went from one move to another, commanding the scene before him and moving in for the attack himself. He really wasn't a novice like Naia.

[break][break]"Zwei! Now us-"

[break][break]A large shadow stretched out from down the battle over to right by Naia, her first instinct to quickly dash away. The horrifying nature of Gengar emerging from the ground behind Zwei to give him an attack from behind, sent shivers down Naia's spin. While Zwei was tanking the hit, it wasted no time in twisting it's body to face on it's ghost attacker, one of it's rapid maws CRUNCHing down onto the opposing Pokémon on pure instinct. Rather than phasing through the ghost instead a sinking crackle could be hard, it was once it's jaws opened did the Gangar quickly retreat back out of reach from the Zweilous.

[break][break]It was then when he attention was drawn back to the fight behind kind did she bare witness to Ashley at gun point. Pin and needles swept over her body as she'd instinctively raised the gun in her hand at the shooter, Ashley's nod only steeling her resolve to shot but as she put her second hand on the gun and aimed did the pop of a gun resonated.

[break][break]"Run, little girl. Back to Rocket. Wouldn't want to kill such a pretty face."

[break][break]Naia had never been mad before, the things she thought that invoked that emotions were far in between the intensity she was feeling in that very moment, so much so she couldn't recognize the tone he used when she barked her next command, "Dragon Pulse!"

[break][break]She wasn't paying attention where exactly this purple tendrils of energy where going to hit and ricochet off to next, because her main attention was to use it for cover, firing off a shot while dashing into the side entrance of the alley. While she was obviously aiming for something far more lethal than the shallow shot she got off onto his shoulder, Naia had another plane once she was hidden out of sight.

[break][break]She needed to get over to Ashley to assess the damage, worse case depending on how the bullet entered inside of him it could ricochet off his bones and do more excessive damage, but if not-- maybe she can get him out and stop the bleeding. With that in mind, Naia would release a second Pokémon, her Zorua Colie, giving it a rushed but quiet demand.

[break][break]"Get close as me. On command use Night Daze." Her voice was trembling a long with her hands, even though she was gripping the weapon in her hand to tightly her hands were going numb, she was scared that if she loosened any more she'd fumble and get herself killed. With just a small nod did her Zorua turn into Naia and rush out, A second or two max was needed before, the real Naia would exit.

[break][break]"Now!"

[break][break]With the other Pokémon's reduced speed was able to close the gap effectively, however with the threat of getting shot at it didn't to transform back early to avoid getting hit. On the verbally command though, the little Zorua would tense up mid air, curling up to eventually spring back out with a wave of dark energy directly aimed at the shooter. Not only did the lack gunk seemed to cling onto the man's face but a corrosive element steamed off from his face as there was a secondary damaging effect.

[break][break]Rather than running to finish off the man though Naia's one and only priority was to get over to Ash's side, dropping down to quickly check and assess his situation. It was barely anything, a quick visual check to see where the blood was pooling, if any, but relief washed over her to see him moving. The blood curling scream of the man beside her, may have gotten the other man and Pokémon to turn their attention back at them but to Naia it was a clear reminder of the threat was still very much a threat.

[break][break]Even though she didn't see any blood, it didn't mean that it could be pooling up underneath Ash this very moment or worse case the bullet was causing excessive internal bleeding instead. She needed to get rid of the source first so she could administer medical attention then. Colie didn't just stand by either, and while Naia was getting up would take action and bite down on Ashley's leg, doing it's very best and failing to drag him over to cover.

[break][break]With her attention on the screaming man, Naia would just simply aim down towards him and click the trigger once.
[break]Then a second time.
[break]A third.
[break]Fourth.

[break][break]As many time as she felt like she needed, even after she heard the dull click of the empty gun, worse case if she needed more she figured she could just take his weapon off from him.

[break][break]Plus Bullets can be bought, but not a life.

Upon seeing the other Pokémon flee from the scene, Naia could finally feel her legs buckle. Perhaps it was due to exhaustion, she didn't get to finish drinking her coffee before this fight, and she did work up a sweat running from fire. She couldn't feel the psychological tax it put on her, even as she saw Ashley roll over and laugh. For the moments before hand she was so overwhelmed by emotion, but now it felt just eerily calm.

[break][break]"Well done, Naia."

[break][break]She guessed this could be considered a good job. She got hurt, Ashley got hurt, everyone got hurt, if it really was a good job none of this would have happened. Colie who had been trying to pull Ashley over eventually let go of his leg at his command, her fur standing up on end as she quickly scurried off to Naia for safety and comfort. The little bundle of nerves and fur, rolling around in her lap as if that was going to somehow dig herself deeper out of sight. But what was she supposed to say?

[break][break]Ah. That made sense on why she didn't see blood, it still didn't mean he was completely out of the woodworks, even with bullet proof vests there is a high chance of getting injured from the impact. In serious cases he could still have internal bleeding, minor cases it was just bruising, she wouldn't know unless she got to check.

[break][break]"Don't move around too much, let me finish up.."

[break][break]She used one arm to support Colie's body, her free hand finally letting go of his gun and switching it out for their target's. Technically the work wasn't over, she getting up on her feet Naia would look around to do one final assessment of the situation. The man further in was obviously dead, the bloody left overs from his dragon saw to it, and the one she handled had no way of surviving without imidiate attention.

[break][break]It was far easier to go for an unmoving target, and far safer to double tab to make sure he stayed dead. In her mind it was far more merciful to shoot him in the face rather than have him die from getting mauled. Colie whimpered in her arm, burring even deeper into her body, as she'd toss the gun back to it's owner.

[break][break]"Zwei, you can finish up.." It was the cadence and float tone she was used to using whenever she did work with her father and the meticulous mindset she forced herself into whenever she needed to make quick and lifesaving decisions. It was perhaps because of that mentality, she felt so fixated on making sure his injuries were taken care of first before calming down. "Can you move? Does it hurt?" She'd sigh, almost annoyed, "Take off your shirt, it'll be easier if I check it out."

Something she'd come to regret was that the gruesome and horrifying scene laid out beside Naia was something she wasn't unfamiliar too. However this was different since the first time she had seen something like this was from an Emboar, and then ash's dragon; now when it came to her zweilous she had an inkling of what they would do. She researched that the two heads were their own individual minds, both extremely hungry and both--

[break][break]The growls and vicious bites at each other soon spelt out her next thought, Zweilous in general were extremely competitive and highly territorial of their food. Both heads weren't just eating the bodies but trying to rip them away from each other, clothing tearing, bones cracking, and a visceral party popper. Seeing how close they were to Naia and Ashely, really didn't help anyone's stomach from turning from such a display, until Naia would give her Zwei a hard slap on it's side.

[break][break]"Move your meals over there."

[break][break]She didn't really give it a location, just a generic indication for down the alley, and when one greedily bit own on it's portion, the other would take this opportunity to clean up some messy and take the second one. A new growl and screech ensued but now at least on the move and away from them. By then Ashley would have already gotten undressed, Naia couldn't help but feel a little guilty that she was making his clothes more wet then they had too and forcing Ashley to weather it. But it was a necessity.

[break][break]Dropping down in front of him, she had seen many people topless before, even worse cases naked, men, women, all different shapes and sizes, to her at this point looking at a body was no different then seeing a mannequin. She was barely conscious of a person or even any romantic natures it could imply, however the thing she did note was all of his scarring. There had been a patient before hand that was littered with scars too and some of those old words weren't looked after properly, hold bone was forced to regrow in strange and painful manners and she could only hope that Ashley wasn't an idiot like that.

[break][break]"Do you feel dizzy? Nauseous even?"

[break][break]While Naia spoke her hands reached for his wound but stopped before making contact. Typical she would wear thin gloves, but right now these were just leather gloves, there was no way she'd be able to feel or tell what she was doing at this point. Placing a hand on his thigh in preparation for her next step, Naia would use her teeth to pull off one of her gloves.

[break][break]With that she'd grab his other leg and quickly jerked them towards her, her plan to scoot him ever so slightly closer so he'd lean back more, but with still having the wall support him some. The moment her finger's touched her skin the initial coldness of the wet rain was washed away with his own body heat, a moment of hesitation as she was adjusting to it before moving to touching and pressing his wound. She was feeling for any extra tenderness, but also was carefully watching his reactions to see if the pain was far greater than she'd anticipate from just bruising, if he threw up then she'd need to be prepared for surgery.

But thankfully she didn't feel anything alarming, he'd probably just be sore from the bruise. Nothing some pain meds and a cold compress couldn't fix up.

[break][break]"If the pain gets worse, it starts swelling, you get a fever, or you see any red streaks. Go to the hospital."

[break][break]Once she finished giving her list, Naia would reach over and grab his clothes, finding at this point they were probably going to be too uncomfortable from how wet they were and did her best to wring it out. In reality they spent so much time in the rain it shouldn't have mattered, but in her experience putting on wet clothes was an annoying and frustrating process.

[break][break]She'd nod while he was speaking, still continuing with her examination, till he mentioned about him getting killed.

[break][break]"Better this than a bullet."

[break][break]Naia tensed a bit at her own words, realizing that she wasn't back at home working on a medical table. He wasn't some random person complaining about the pain, if anything at this point he had been doing the opposite.

[break][break]"Sorry.."

[break][break]She muttered under her breath, attending them to be for herself but even after they left her mouth her face would darken. She was sorry about a lot of things, she was sorry he got shot, sorry he got teamed up with her, sorry she was who she was. But she had him to look after, so now wasn't the time to start getting in her head. Breathe.

[break][break]"You sound like my partner. Trust me, I wouldn't be able to get through the night without it."

[break][break]Naia raised a brow, if he had a partner why wasn't he matched up with them instead of her. The complete notion of this being a romantic partner flying completely over her head. As he begun to put his clothes back on, she'd wiggle backwards to give him space and so she could get up onto her feet as well. Her eyes drifting off to her Pokémon to find them still hungrily licking at the pavement to get any small scrap they left behind.

[break][break]"Come on. Let's go celebrate your first mission success. Milkshakes are on me."

[break][break]Naia would let out a heavy sigh at both the last comment and her Zweilous now fighting itself the closer they approached them, knowing full well how much damage they could cause to themselves due to their food rage. Placing a hand down onto her lower thigh for support Naia would dip down towards Ashley, offering a hand for him to get up.
