At Sergei's announcement, Shalin gave the thumbs up. She and onlookers were prompted to put their ear protection on as she waved her Shiny Beedrill forward. Her skin tingling in anticipation, the Beedrill briefly embraced Shalin with the flats of her foreleg stings before turning to one side and lowering her wings almost all the way to the ground. She stood above one of them and allowed it to lift her off the grassy surface. Those who had not donned their ear protection yet would be able to hear murmurs from the crowd, a fair number of them wondering how what she was doing was physically possible. Those versed in seeing the visible effects of INFINITY ENERGY would be able to notice both the Flygon and her suit glowing a faint green.

After a second thumbs-up, the blue-eyed Shiny Beedrill warmed her giant wings up. While they were still silent, they were still flapping fast enough to create illusory copies of Shalin. She made riding on the wing look effortless, her suit enabling her to do something that perhaps no other person on the planet could do. The motion was already violent. It was hard to imagine what the girl's perspective was like. What could she even see?

The Beedrill briefly rested her wings to a round of whistles and applause, Shalin's swaying forcing Queen Zing to make small adjustments to keep her from falling off. Not long after, the real show began. A piercing buzz, amplified by Shalin sitting on the wing, made everyone who wore earplugs glad they did. Those who didn't would suffer through the pain and agony of ringing ears for quite some time. Those with keen ears may have been able to faintly hear a whoop from Shalin, the girl nearly invisible from how fast her fluttering ride went. The grass beneath her swayed chaotically in their wake. The field of INFINITY ENERGY between Shalin and her Flygon grew stronger and brighter the faster the wings beat.

Once Shalin had her fill, the wings began to slow down. She had been exposed to motion that, without her suit, had her dead to rights in every sense of the phrase. Instead, she merely swayed on the now-still wing much like a drunk person would. While she wasn't intoxicated on alcohol, she perhaps was on adrenaline.
