“Don’t look at me like that,” she pokemon’s side eyes wasn’t only visible, but the disdain in it was palpable. Eva’s hands rose to the air as if to signal she had nothing to do with this, “Look, if you wanna evolve into a Bisharp someday, you’re gonna have to train. That’s just the way of things,” the young pokemon seemed rather conflicted. They wanted to evolve, but obviously didn’t want to put in the work. To their dismay, Eva refused to just feed them Rare Candies, “And sometimes you have to train against pokemon that are stronger than you . . . and sometimes not . . . 50/50 chance,” at least, on the Fiery Path it was. They could run into a fire type that would whoop the steel-type’s butt or a poison-type that didn’t stand a chance.
