Another day, another venture in. It was an odd experience, being in there the first time— but experience was still experience, and although the sights around him still rung a peculiar chord, he was still at least a bit more familiar with what was to come. ”Yer fuckin’ call, then~,” he murmured, a wry toothiness surfacing amidst a malevolent smirk. Although the situation called for accompaniment with another person, he looked towards the woman before him once more as he rolled both neck and shoulders, alike, and began a leisurely stride towards her and the people standing alongside her.[break][break]

Seeing as though his own companion already seemed ready enough to start a riot, he lifted his arms as his steps grew light upon the simulated floors beneath them. Instinctively, his head sunk further down and between his arms as his shoulders lifted.[break][break]

Without any hesitation, he snapped a hook towards the nearest person in the blink of an eye.[break][break]

the blow of a hook on one of the faceless folks thuds in the room, and her aggron responds in kind with a ROCK TOMB on more small fry around. rather than lifting a finger, the woman tilts her head and hums softly. "none of 'em are real, anyways~" and she doesn't have to face the consequences of her own actions. it's a win-win, really. [break][break]

aria isn't aware of what's happening.[break][break]

at least, not until she feels herself struck by the UNOWN's HIDDEN POWER. it ejects them from the current scenario and simulation, and nearly knocks the wind out of her as the vertigo has her catch and rebalance herself with her knees. the pain only lasted for a brief moment, but her brows knit and tongue clicks all the same. [break][break]

her aggron has returned to its pokeball, though she'll assume that that was also part of the simulation? terrifying that it could be so accurate if so, what a coward if it wasn't. [break][break]

her ears perk, initially to try and get a feel for the environment. it's a lot less.. noisy than the last, but the silence is near deafening, until she hears an indescribable voice that speaks to her. she doesn't hear the pokemon that kneel, and only the two voices of flora and her partner. his comment brings a smile to her lips, along with a chuckle. [break][break]

so she tilts her head and crosses her arms. they could water it like it wants them to, but maybe she's not so kind as to water a tree that just asks her. [break][break]

"if it's so creepy, you wanna burn it?"

He stopped short at the inquiry posed of him, standing and staring straight ahead for a few moments before slowly turning and glancing over his shoulder.[break][break]

An unreadable look—both literally in her case and otherwise—surfaced upon his expression, coupled only by the gradual furrowing of brows that eventually creased upon his face all the while. Hints of inquiry and what could possibly have been judgment within the face of such a sudden and confident response had soon made themselves apparent, as well. Before long, though, he took another glance towards the tree and its still life inhabitants before ultimately breathing a deep sigh.[break][break]

He shook his head, waving a hand dismissively before crossing his arms.[break][break]

it's not her fault. [break][break]

she's fearless of the consequences, and fearless of the outcome - after all, this is all a simulation. perhaps if she had an inkling that this was all real, she'd have a better time grounding herself into a sense of logic. but, alas, it's the comfort in knowing that her actions are free from recoil. [break][break]

it's liberating, in a way. [break][break]

"don't you worry ya pretty lil head over it~" her ears perk, and she can hear the smirk and scoff in a man's voice. rather than being offended, she only smirks in return, pulling out another pokeball to send out a sorely familiar salazzle. "it's not like i was gonna be burning it."[break][break]

and it's true when her salazzle opens her maw, releasing a trail of FLAMETHROWER at the roots, the flora, and the branches at the tree of life to burn. the light still never reaches her eyes, but the warmth of a crackling fire kisses her skin. she smiles, and hums, amazed. the simulation was really something.[break][break]

"just gotta work smarter and not harder~."
