A large straw sun hat shielding her face from the sun, Nenet peers curiously at the berry bushes growing wild just off the path. Ostensibly she's checking the area's path for debris and maintenance for the Rangers, and looking for anything resembling poaching, but at present she's found the outing quite fruitful for expanding her building's gardens; her backpack now contains clippings and berries from a variety of bushes she's stumbled upon.

As she's examining a round pomeg berry rustling in the grass pulls her attention backwards. A pokemon, perhaps, or someone travelling. She steps back onto the path, one hand going to ensure her hat doesn't escape while the other lifts to wave.

"Good afternoon," Nenet greets the nearby man who manifests from the grass.

The rustling of the tall grass is immediately followed by the pop of a pink-and-cream-colored head cresting above the undergrowth. The Audino blinks at the woman curiously before offering a cheery wave with a hand clutching a spray of dark-colored leaves. Chirping happily, she turns and toddles through the grass down the slope.

Rhys runs a hand through his hair absently as he hikes up the rise, greeting his Audino with a soft smile. "Good girl!" he grins, spying her prize. With a happy chirrup, Althea passes the herbs to her trainer, who stows them in a small leather satchel at his hip. Glancing upward from the task, he catches sight of the other woman and returns her greeting brightly, a wide smile lighting his face.

"Oh, hallo!" he rejoins, eyebrows lifting as he appraises his erstwhile companion. "It seems like we might have had the same idea. Great minds, d'you think?"

Nenet smiles faintly and gives a little wave to the Audino when the pokemon appears. Her attention shifts to Rhys and she gives a low laugh, her eyes bright as she agrees, "It seems so. At least the weather's nice for it."

Before she can say anything else a light tug at her hand draws Nenet's attention to where a Mightyena now stands. Snuffling at her hand, the pokemon tilts his head at an odd angle, managing to carefully get his teeth into the pomeg berry in her hand to inelegantly gobble it down.

Nenet blinks once, and the laughs before pulling out a pokeball to tap against the Mightyena's broad nose to catch it.

"I'm Nenet," she then says, finally introducing herself.
