Grigori had retreated both his Pokémon by the time him and Shred started their scramble for the exit. As sand sprouted from almost nowhere, a jolt of shock pulsed through his body as all sense of control was taken away. It did not take long to see that it was Howard's own Pokémon that did the job.



"Thanks for the lift," he called out, moments before being dumped onto the ground. Yet now wasn't the time to dwaddle around. The exit still lay in front of the trio, and the Regieleki resorted to blind rapid-fire. Stray bolts of electricity pounded into the cliff face and whizzed by their heads.

So, he ran. Behind the other two, all focus directed to that faint hope. Closer and closer it grew, all the while pellets of debris from above fell down. Bits of rubble and cable, torn apart by the sheer force behind each bolt, rained on them. It felt like the scene of an action move he'd seen a while ago.

And then, they were there. Howard entered first, then Shred, then himself a second behind. 

They had done it. Crossed a gap, spent ten around ten minutes in two rooms, almost died, then recrossed and left. What a great expedition...
