The newly appeared Treecko gives a little chirrup of defiance and in response to the Double Team sends a Worry Seed towards Nenet's Kirlia. There's a scrap between the two, blows traded until the Treecko scurries back off into the woods.

Kneeling, Nenet carefully brushes her hands over the Kirlia to ensure there's no concerning damage and then smiles. "Well done," Nenet praises.

The next pokemon they come across gives Nenet's Kirlia a touch more trouble. Hopping down from a stump and puffing up at the Kirlia, the little Torchic lands a Crush Claw before Kirlia can retaliate.

Kirlia shakes it off, chest puffing out in annoyance. Unleashing a Psychic at the Torchic, which dazes it, Kirlia gives a little coo of self satisfaction before healing herself with a Heal Pulse.

Nenet tosses a pokeball to catch the Torchic.

Beckoning her Kirlia along, Nenet and her pokemon soon come across a Mudkip playing at the stream's shoreline. They watch for a time until the pair are noticed, and the little Mudkip puffs up to intimidate its visitors.

Nenet laughs, her hands raised and palms offered in peace as she assures, "We're leaving."

With that, she guides her Kirlia down the way.

It's not much longer after they pass the Mudkip that the pair stumble upon a Feebas. Nenet looks at the pokemon, who has banked itself right next to the stream, while her Kirlia looks up to Nenet. It seems rather cruel to attack the poor thing, its mouth flapping open and closed as it stares blankly. With a sigh Nenet tosses a pokeball.

With the Feebas caught and tucked away, Nenet lightly taps the back of her Kirlia's head to direct the pokemon along. It's not much later that a Pikachu scurries out of the tall grass. Looking at it with a touch of nostalgia for Alolan Raichu, Nenet directs her Kirlia to attack with a powerful Psychic.

With the Pikachu safely tucked away in her bag, Nenet looks up to discover a little Eevee bounding out of the grass. It trots up, tail awag and ears perked forwards at the sight of a human and comes to stop just a few feet from Nenet.

She kneels down, her hand extending to the Eevee to give it a good scratch on the cheek. "Do you want to come with me," she asks, a pokeball extended with the words.
