It was a strong blow, as the counter struck his Solar Plexus, sand was blasted into every direction, into all four corners of the beach; revealing the granite underneath; it was as if Qing was stuck in space, anchored in that singular second before time began to continue once more.

It was devistating as he was flung across the sand, and flying until even beyond Kouji, completely knocked out, sleeping, out cold. Kouji looked over his shoulder at Qing who returned back into his normal form, before he caught the roundhouse kick to his gut.

It was a strong blow, powerful, enough for him to land onto his back. Was it worth getting up? It was only right, as Qing had done the same, in this fight, he had to push even further beyond. ”Fought Navy’s Shuwen, huh? Makes sense, they’re twin brothers.” He said as Kouji jumped up to his feet.

”But this half of the battle ain’t finished yet.” He couldn’t back down with Qing having gone so far, it was a matter of pride as his trainer. Kouji glided forward, his feet sliding over the sand as he drew his leading arm into his body, loading up the uppercut to deliver to the jaw of Kazimir.

”I’ll still get ya.”

Domon lets out a roar of victory as soon as he sees his fellow Urshifu return back to normal as they lay there still in the sand. Another triumph under his belt that was hard earned was something that he was thankful for and showed that thanks by bowing to the fallen bear. That's when his ears detected the sound of shifting sand and he looked over to see his Trainer managed to send his opponent to the ground but also saw them suddenly jump back up. The fight between him and Qing might be over the but war between him and his Trainer's enemies was still going on and as a partners he wasn't going to let that get his trainer.

So before Kouji could land his uppercut on Kazimir Domon was quick to shove him out of the way and take the uppercut for himself. Normally the Urshifu could handle humans trying to attack them, most Pokemon could if they were built like him, but the wounds and exhaustion from his battle had already taken too much from him and the human's fist was just enough to wipe out the last of his energy as he fell over limp as his whole body went still from exhaustion.

Kaz watched in shock from seeing his Urshifu taken out by a person of all things. He was his buddy, his partner, no way was he going to let some guy just take him out with a punch like that. Even if it was for protecting Kazimir's sake. "Big dumb lug... I can handle myself!" His words betrayed the feeling of appreciation he did have for the gesture. So he retaliated with a left haymaker right to Kouji's face.

It was a strong blow, Kouji had been shocked by the Urshifu’s action, it had felt like hitting a stone, a rock face; he had felt the impact all the way down to his elbow, but the follow up seemed to have hurt even more.

It had really been that close, huh?

”What a tough guy, even a breeze woulda knocked him over, but he still chose to take that hit.” Urshifu were a unique pokemon, one he could appreciate to the highest degree, and every example just enhanced his opinion on them.

”We can’t get shown up by these guys.” Kouji said with a grin as as blood dripped down the side of his mouth, he grit his teeth, and charged forward; his fists poised and ready for another blow, jumping up this time.

It looked choreographed, but he used the faux jump hook to lead into a reverse spin kick, putting the entirety of his weight behind it.

Urshifu were pretty incredible creatures, always striving for perfection of their art and honing their bodies yet they always pushed what was their upper limit each and every time. It was pretty inspirational in some sense. It gave Kazimir a sense of wanting to be the best and then breaking through the ceiling to try and reach even higher heights that not even he can see. Of course such a path was always laid with obstacles from time to time and right now one of them was named Kouji.

He brought his arms up to try and block the man's frontal attack when he saw him jump, at least that's what he thought was happening but he was slow on the take when the man switched it up on him. Instead he felt a leg slam right into his ribs. It hurt a little more than what he was expecting and he could swear he felt something go wrong inside of his own body as he was suddenly on the floor rolling on the ground.

Despite the pain he used the momentum to push himself up to his hands and feet in a low crouch. Blue eyes trained themselves onto Kouji and the larger man rushed in for a tackle, hoping to shove him onto the ground and mount him with all of his weight on him to pin him down onto the ground. He needed to try and restrain him somehow otherwise he'd be walking away from this fight with more than just simple bruises.

Being tackled, Aikido was where Kouji shone, but being exhausted and having the weight difference between the two made something like this a lot more difficult than it should have been; unbalanced from his landing?

He found himself on his back, his hands slapped down on the ground to disperse the force as Kaz was on top of him, Kouji’s eyes looked for any weaknesses in the man’s defence, in his ground game, and immediately went for hooking his legs around one of Kaz’ own, his ankles were locked together, now came the more difficult part.

To spin, turn on the spot in this moment, he was smaller in weight, that fact was certain, he always preferred more lean muscle, “practical” he called it, but there was a practicality in being the larger one.

A hard to beat advantage even with advanced knowledge of multiple forms of fighting, and this was coming to bare even here as he looked pushed his elbow into the ground, his left arm hooked around Kaz’ waist, and he tried to turn over.

”Tch, you in bulking season or something?”

"Nah, us Wynter boys are just naturally big." Pride laced his words as he felt Kouji's limbs wrap around him and try to turn him over. Instead Kazimir just pushes more onto Kouji's shoulders and digs his toes into the sand. He wanted to used his entire weight to keep Kouji in place and stop him from getting any sort of ground on him. He was giving him one hell of a fun time but he was still on the clock sadly, so letting this drag on wasn't the best plan of action.

So he needed to break this Rocket and send him crashing. So moving one hand from his shoulder Kaz balled it into a fist and started to aim a few punches right into Kouji's ribs. "Now give up or I'll break ya every way possible man! And that's a promise!" And Kazimir was someone who did his best to keep his promises.

”Tch, I ain’t gonna give so easily.” Kouji said as he looked over, there was something he could do, or else he’d just find his ribs caving in. With his elbow in the sand, and arm around the man’s waist, he knew he had some leverage as the fist hit his ribs.

It was subtle, but he had seen it enough times to know that the first thing he needed to do as he unhooked his arm from Kaz’ waist, and towards the man’s elbow, turning his and holding the man’s elbow in the crook of his own arm, using it as a fulcrum for a variation of the arm crank.

”Tch, guys like you are too tough, if you want my ribs, have ‘em. But I’m taking your elbow.”

Being huge did have its advantages. The other disadvantages was that they were a bigger target so attacking the limbs was easier. Case in point was when his arm was pulled and his elbow was at Kouji's mercy. Crap. He let himself get got.

He had a few choices here and most of them probably involved him losing that elbow. "All right, all right. I'll...take some nuts instead!" His hand moved away from Kouji's ribs and shot right into his family's jewels. It was a risk but drastic times called for drastic measures. He was definitely probably going to lose that elbow though.

There was one thing to consider in all of this.

Getting hit in the nuts fucking hurt.

Kouji felt his whole body grow slack after taking that hit, he felt nauseous, as if a hammer had dropped into his stomach, it made his hold; the crank that he had fought for growing more and more loose.

Damn, he had given up one of the weakest points possible, just what the hell was he playing at in this moment. ”That’s….Dirty.”

He wanted to be sick, but he couldn’t muster any strength just yet.

The hold is loosened and Kazimir rolls to pull his arm out. As he lies on his side cradling his elbow he watches Kouji writhe on the ground. He hated how much regret he was feeling about it. "Sorry man, but business before pleasure."

Kaz remembered he was here for a reason and not just a fight. Ok he was here for a fight but a bigger fight.

"If ya wanna get payback, look up Kazimir Wynter." He slowly pushed himself up to his feet and stood over Kouji looking down on him. His face was nothing but apologetic. "I'll be waiting." He starts kicking his fallen foe right in the sternum to get this over with.

And kicking.

And kicking.

This whole fight was really sucking, but Kouji couldn’t really give in even if he wanted to give in, but the difference in positions was striking, and he could only take the strikes to the chest at this moment in time. It sucked, but there was little he could do about it at this moment in time. He would just have to grit his teeth, and bare it.

But his chest wanted to give way, he felt tired, exhausted, and well, he could feel the air give out of his lungs, until there was little else there anymore. But, he wasn’t here to play a game, he had handed it in, but he could feel it rattling against his chest, that knife, and so he took it in his hand, before placing it in the way of the next kick.

Fuck fighting fair, this sucked.

One last kick ought to do it. Normally he would have just left a Rocket grunt on the ground even if they were still conscious, sleep for them only came if they were stubborn. This guy was a different story, he was both stubborn and fun to throw fists with. It was a combination that brought out the worst (or perhaps best?) side of Kazimir as it fed into his love of fighting. In high stakes situations it was probably not the ideal way to go about things, never know what could happen.

Such as your opponent taking out a knife and driving it into your leg right above the ankle. "Aaaaaaaaargh!" Kaz screamed out as he fell onto his side right next to Kouji holding onto his leg as red poured down from the wound. Fuck fighting dirty, this sucked.

"Fuck! Really?!" Each word took a deep breath from Kazimir as he gritted his teeth trying to grab at the knife, not sure if leaving it in or taking it out was worse.

He just knew he wanted the pain to stop.

Kouji struggled to his feet as he got the moment of reprieve, he felt the pain in his sides. ”Tch. Umbreon’s gonna be working overtime.” He said as he looked over himself, it was a dangerous place to be. The knife of his now dripped with blood, and he looked over at Kaz.

”We’re here to win, ain’t no such thing as a fair fight in a war. Thanks for reminding me of that.” He said as he adjusted his footing, but the only result of this battle would be that of two men who wouldn’t be able to move.

”But I’ve got a place to be. You’ve got a place to be. Let’s end this.” He said as he prepared himself, lowering his stance for a final blow.
