Though really, looking at these Pokémon, splashing around, crashing boats, and splatting around, a platoon...A splatoon? What a stupid name, he blushed in embarassment before he shook his head. "Let's boil them alive, use Flamethrower, we'll heat up the water and soften 'em up." There might be someone who can cook a good Overqwil, but he doubted he knew anyone that underwent the twenty years of training in Johto.

A school to learn tricks at, a place we can put ideas into brains, and a place that people can sharpen their claws, but this ain’t the place for that.” He said with a shrug, it was better to leave it for the Admin to think about.

What Kouji had was an idea, just an idea lacking structure, and realistic thought put behind it.

”Didn’t take you for the arrogant type, just the crazy chick type.” Kouji said as he looked over his shoulder, at the group of pokemon that were chasing them. ”Rebellious guys from the future know crap from the future.” He said as he cracked his neck both ways.

There was something he didn’t like about all of this but that had to do with the entire system as a whole. Kouji cracked his neck loudly as he looked around for a moment, wondering what had gotten her so excited. He didn’t care too much about fighting these pokemon, he’d leave it to Salamence, and…Iron Jugulis. A pokemon Kouji disliked a good deal.

”Antheil…” He said before his expression remained flat, this was only beginning to grow even weirder. Kouji rolled his shoulder and looked at his surroundings before he looked at the monster that was beginning to roll from the rubble. ”Don’t go looking down on the future.” He said as he jumped forward to drag the woman away with him, out of the way of the rolling menace of death.

”This place starts to feel more and more like dream mist.” Yet it was something different.

”Oi, it’s got your name on it. Can’t you like, I don’t know…Order it to stop.”Kouji said as he went for a second pokeball, he was going to pick to fight in this scenario.

It was in passing, but there was something that bothered him in this interaction, a singular meeting was just a singular meeting; but then again he was doing this out of his own selfishness just as well.

”Thanks.” He said as he got ready to turn away into the road, before he stopped and shrugged for a moment, a singular sigh on his face. ”Wanna come along? You really shouldn’t go along with strangers, but I know you better than ya know me.”

Matsubara Kouji disliked the incessant rain that beat against the street, the splashes that poked past his umbrella, and slapped against his bare, cold face. Even if this time of year was supposed to welcome the pre-arrival of spring, he couldn’t feel a hint of that in this city. Ever Grande, the last time he was here, he had stood at the door to the gates of the great black and red Wyvern.

”Yo. You’re the kid from the Vital Festival, right? You know where you can find a nice pokemon accessory shop?” In a strange form and shape, Kouji looked over his shoulder and then back at the shorter girl.

Kouji raised an eyebrow, that almost sounded Kalosian if he didn’t know better, but he did and he knew that names in Hoenn were a mishmash. ”Kouma, nothing special to that name.” He said with a humble shrug before he turned his eyes back to his Urshifu.

The dark type was blasted back into the earth by the powerful blow of the winds, Kouji heard a beep as the HP of his pokemon was knocked down a notch, but that wasn’t enough to change this pokemon’s mind. It shook it off, before preparing to soar into the sky again, it was never so simple was it?

A bear without wings challenging the heavens, he punched the ground with an explosion of dark force as if to knock himself upwards, the same energies continued to coalesce around his fist, growing darker and darker with every rotation.

Striking with the Wicked Blow, a singular strike aimed at the gut, the spinning energy was aimed at the flames in order to part their way, a direct challenge at the three headed beast, a direct clash of force.

The powerful explosion began to rock the feet underneath Urshifu, the earth exploded upwards, and he barely managed to jump in time, using the flying rocks to jump between as he focused the energy in his fists, he had to time it right.

Kouji gave the thumbs up, the martial bear could feel the eyes of his trainer on his back, wondering which attack would strike first, his Sucker Punch, or the Hurricane that was being pointed at him.

Kouji patted Urshifu on the back, sending the pokemon forward, the bear was taller than him, broader than him, and prouder. With heavy steps, the bear-like pokemon gave a nod before he struck a stance, sank into his knees, and got ready to pounce.

”We’re ready, Urshifu…Iron Head.”

And so he leapt forward, a powerful strike prepared with his head which began to shine like metal against the winter sun.

Kouji rolled his shoulder. ”I don’t plan to get socked in the face all that much more often, so don’t need that jaw.” He said with a smirk, his focus sharpened as the battle began to grow closer to a conclusion, and due to the statement the man across from him had made.

”Mah, it’s fine as long as you don’t become another Traitor. You’re not the kind that needs to fight in the first place, leave it to guys like us.” Said the grunt, he didn’t see himself as being in the right place for leadership yet, he sought it, he wanted it, but he knew better than that.

Perhaps it was the wisdom of age that had told him about that.

”Plus, you want me getting blended food all over some papers? I’m the battle type of kind, you’ve got brains. Admin is perfect for ya.” He said as he stared at the back of Urshifu, this was about to become the decisive moment in this battle, there was always a trick for it; high return, high risk.

”But I will say, I don’t think anyone knows the direction we’re going in, ‘cept for Walsh. Everyone else is just tryna redirect the river as best as they can.” There was something special to that.

It was a victory to him, but it didn’t quite feel like that as Urshifu’s strike had indeed landed, the lick had struck just a moment too late; that was the perk of the move known as Sucker Punch, high risk and yet it gave a solid reward.

”Little guy’s pretty tough, makes you wonder what kinda Greninja he’ll be.” He said with a pat as he stretched out. ”Feel free to grab me for another battle at some point, Qing’s always up for another brawl. What’s the Froakie’s Name?”

Urshifu found its blow striking true, but Kouji wasn’t just satisfied with purely that, he looked forward and stared at the opponent in front of him. The dark energies exploded outwards before it fell apart, a tongue breaking through the dark wave.

There was an attempt to meet it with his own move, a Sucker Punch aimed at the very moment.

”Guess this is about as fun as a usual battle, you really can’t tell which way it’ll go, huh?”
