The battle was unveiling, he had decided to forgo medical treatment for Absol, but his eyes still scanned. The sandstorm growing ever thicker, and tougher, only the feel of a cold chill was enough to tell him someone else was around. The gigantic Regice was a more obvious sign, and that should have been enough.

He took a deep breath, mustering his resolve, if they would be stuck in a sandstorm anyway. ”It’s our turn Dracovish.” He didn’t have time to focus on those titans, the pain in the butt that they were. ”I’ll back you up, Admin Fox.” The loud voice, the gigantic sound, the pink dust that was intermixing in the air, and the giant rocks that were falling all over the place.

He’d trust his back to the giant behemoth of ice behind him, and he’d focus on John Sullivan, he had a lot to thank the man for, but right now he was simply another enemy on the battlefield. ”Get his surroundings, route D.” Dragon Pulse, the draconic energies converged in Dracovish’s maw before attempting to clear the area, as if wanton destruction would allow Kouji to think clearer.

A half smirk on his expression as his challenge had been accepted; he carefully crafted his stance. Kouji slid his lead leg forward, right arm the same as he put his guard up high; as if his face was going to be protected by his own forearms. His golden eyes narrowed as he gradually slid forward.

Close combat was perhaps one of the few skills he could say he had and he took a lot of pride in it, his specialty so to speak. But being in this organisation was humbling, there were others that could outdo him even in that.

So he gradually slipped forward with his lead leg before he kicked out low at Jayden’s shin to test out the range between them, ready to follow it with the same move over and over.

Kouji ran a hand through his hair as he looked over this place. Electrode and Magneton, were they going to be useful, or were they simple going to become parts? It was something he was curious about, a war machine, or batteries?

”Can’t say I have yet, cute.” Kouji said with a laugh as he looked over the rabid beast, he didn’t doubt she’d burn him into ash with an order. The laugh just put into perspective how comfortable he felt around Tempest.

”C’mon Dracozolt.” He brought his dragon type pokemon, its ability to eat electric type attacks would come into use, and for everything else it had a move of use to begin with.

”Route D.” His pokemon responded with a coalescence of draconic energy at the tip of its beak before it fired it off in an attack at the red hot door breaking through it. It would’ve preferred to use its bolt beak, but it wasn’t worth it in the present circumstance.

The insides were full of electric types, New Mauville also held Zapdos, but he didn’t have that kind of access permission to begin with. A bunch of these were useless to them, a couple Elekid’s came forward, but Dracozolt was ready for their electric attacks jumping forward to take it on directly. The thunder punch, and thundershock were both eaten by the dragon type.

It was rare enough to run into someone with the same shade of tone as himself, especially someone as pretty as that. But he didn’t sit on it for long, Kouji wasn’t the type to think with that brain for very long after all.

Kouji regretted this line of lies, but at the same time it wasn’t far off from what he was doing. Calling a high school dropout’s investigation any kind of fieldwork was going pretty far, he didn’t know much of anything, he barely finished his first year.

Kouji couldn’t keep the smirk off his face, it would be a good opportunity to vent out a lot of his frustrations and annoyances…The collateral would have been worth it, but then again he looked out for any interesting points.
