They were heavy-handed, a thud that made the door jingle against its own lock, to bang against the frame itself. The one behind such violent and loud knocking was a young man who looked to be in his early twenties.

With a blue cap on his head, and a set of blue slacks, the jacket completely open revealing the white shirt underneath. Without a doubt, a man of the trade, at least if one went purely be looks and not skills.

Yet he was fronting a delivery, getting back into the family cover business was a mistake; delivering it by hand to save on delivery costs? The single dumbest idea he’d had in the last 5 hours.

Mitsuru didn't remember ordering herself a wardrobe. But she did remember ordering herself a lot of other things! Just this week, she'd received a rice cooker, a set of six wine glasses, a scented candle, and a fancy shiny dress. Did she have the money to make all these expensive purchases? N-no, but, uh, retail therapy was therapy too, right? And self-care was very important!

All that is to say, when she heard a knock on her shop door, Mitsuru was surprised, but when she opened it to find a deliveryman and not a customer, she wasn't surprised at all. A little disappointed, maybe, but surprised? No.

"Ah, yes, that's for me!"

Opening the door, she greeted the man with a smile, only for it to falter into a frown when she saw the size of the box. She'd ordered something that big? And she'd paid to have it built, too? That must've been...

VERY expensive.

Still, she forced herself to smile wider than before, before opening the door wider, too.

"Come in! Just bring it through the reception and into my office, please."

It was rare enough to run into someone with the same shade of tone as himself, especially someone as pretty as that. But he didn’t sit on it for long, Kouji wasn’t the type to think with that brain for very long after all.

He sighed before he looked at the box, it was heavy enough to get in here, and he didn’t want to track the sack barrow through someone’s house either. So he lowered his center of gravity and lifted the box himself, walking backwards. ”Gotcha ma’am. Sure is heavy, bet you’re excited for this one. Need any help setting this cr- thing up. Proper Kantonian wood, beats the tropical Hoenn woods out of the water, stuff’s made for wimps.”

He patted it down as he arrived in her office, looking the large box up and down he crossed his arms over his chest. ”You need someone to come set this up for ya?” He seemed nervous enough to do so because he straight up did not know how to begin, did they even supply instructions?
