“Come on, Rockets.” He strides across the shore with a confident walk. Grunts groan below him. Some cut and ran at the sight of him. “Just one guy messing with all your ships. One guy. C’mon. Let’s have some fun.” Roland stands by his side. Anyone who gets too close is given a passing kiss from the one-armed Valiant’s sword. There’s a hierarchy to these monsters. He’s trying to draw out one of the big fish.[break][break]
“Someone run back and tell your bosses the Dewford sheriff’s here. Maybe someone worth my time will show up.” It’s all hot air, of course. Half his frontliners are recovering or out of commission. The Pokemon he’s using today are his off-team. Some of them are his gym pokemon. None of them have been bloodied in real battle save Roland, Hattori, and perhaps Sol.[break][break]
Having an electric terrain set up certainly helps even the odds when people come calling. It’s just a matter of letting the wolves catch his scent. One man alone’s easy prey, right?

A sunny day suddenly flies out from the tree line and intensifies the sunlight in the area as a malicious laughter comes from the treeline, however no matter how hard Navy looks, he'd be unable to find the source. However he would suddenly find that a thick and heavy tree trunk would be suddenly flying towards him. [break][break]

The laughter gets closer and a tree starts to move unnaturally, stretching and widening as if making room. He suddenly splits off from the tree, wood becoming human skin and a leather jacket as he rolls his neck. He exits his tree striding and stares down the gym leader. [break][break]

"So you're the new pig in charge of dewford? The fuck's with the sheriff get up? You like cowboys or some shit?" he asks as he doesn't get it. Which was ironic since he is currently wearing a wolf's mask.

A warrior of a paradoxical future jumps before the sheriff. Raising a hand, he fires a blast of concentrated moonlight at the solar beam. Sun and moon clash, neither gaining quarter against the other. Pacing against his side of the maelstrom, he speaks his rebuke.[break][break]

Navy’s hand rests on his belt as he paces with a general’s ease. The hand’s ready to grab another pokeball should another join the first to break the stalemate.[break][break]
“Wonder what kinda world you’re after.” He doubts he’ll get an answer. The man’s just trying to get under his skin. Loss on the battlefield of the mind cascades into loss in every other theater.

Both beams collide with one another and cause a massive explosion to obscure the area, the dust settles after a moment and Bryan is pissed.[break][break]

Not only because of the fact he couldn't get a clean shot in, but he had asked him what kind of world he had wanted. "That's the fucking problem with you league types. Always the idealistic bullshit with ya'll" as he balls his fist and ponders for a moment and then grabs another pokeball tossing it to the right as Brute bonnet uses RAGE POWDER to draw away an attack from Iron valiant. [break][break]

"THE WORLD I WANTED WAS TAKEN AWAY BY YOU GUYS" he shouts at him as he tries to swing at navy with his full strength to kill him, the pokeball he tossed to the side was his grimmsnarl that bundled it's hair fibers together to use SPIRIT BREAK on IRON VALIANT[break][break]

“I didn’t do shit to you, Delarosa!” Navy likes to think he sounds intimidating when he says those words. He imagines his voice is full of vim, vigor, and conviction. It doesn’t have quite the same effect, he realizes, as he says it when having to dive away from a punch that would probably knock his brain out of his head.[break][break]
“I didn’t take away anything from you. If you think you can get the world you want out of my dead body, be my guest. Try me.” Huffing, he lunges up. Much like his Urshifu, Navy believes in a philosophy of many punches being better than one. He aims a flurry of punches at the Beast’s midsection.[break][break]
A second Pokemon emerges from his belt to assist Roland. Musashi is an unruly Scizor. While he is of no immediate help, he gives Roland and Navy both the boon of speed. Flapping his bug wings, he kicks up a tailwind that makes both man and machine quicker. Roland turns his blade upon Brute Bonnet, directing his moon blast towards him. Too late, in an odd machine rage, does he notice the Grimmsnarl striking him.[break][break]

He takes the man's bare punch as he allows him to get several strikes in, his bones break, his body bruises, he spits blood as he allows Navy to just hit him. It wasn't going to matter. [break][break]

Eventually he catches the man's fist and smirks at him. "I could crush your hand right now, cripple you for life. That's the difference between you puny mortals and me." he replies as if he wasn't responding to his comments of he wasn't the one who ruined his life. He tries to grapple Navy and throw him into the ocean, if that were to fail he'd instead try to deliver a swift punch to his ribs with his super strength. "You didn't but you work for the people who keep getting in my WAY. You guys just fucking piss me off!" [break][break]

The brute bonnet gets slammed by the moon blast as it was super effective against it, it looks to try and restore it's health by using GIGA DRAIN on iron valiant. Grimmsnarl observes the tailwind go up and decides to make a move of his own as he rushes in, reciting an incantation to itself it's fists and hair on it alight in flames as he rushes in with a FIRE PUNCH at the pokemon's head as it tries to get super effective damage in.

No, not nobody. He’s someone with something to protect. Lots of someone. Dewford, the people who live there. Isaac Merlo and Eris Halla. Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki in all her gloom. Elsewhere, Roland and Musashi fight their own battle. Both independently feel an inclination to rescue their trainer, but they both know the score. He’s got his own battle to fight. He’d never forgive them if they rescued him now.[break][break]
Musashi sees the blow coming. He sees Roland have his energy drained from behind the charging Grimmsnarl. What’s that idiot doing?! He’s not going for the Brute Bonnet. Instead, it looks like he’s—[break][break]
Fine. Musashi closes his eyes. He channels the fighting spirit every Scizor has. He allows the blow to take him, flying up so it slams into his chest instead of his head. Only after those flames scorch him near to death does he retaliate. His counter comes with a blast just as terrible. It slams into the Grimmsnarl full in his big body.[break][break]
Nor is the attack the only one aimed at Grimmsnarl. Putting his life on the line for his comrade, Roland fires another moonblast aimed at the monster’s back. From two comes one brutal pincer attack.

He rolls his neck, as his injuries from Navy's punches fade away quickly. [break][break]

He tries to catch one of the punches and holds his fist in his own as he uses his super strength to not let go. "You keep coming up to me knowing I can literally pick you up and throw you, your punches wont do very much? Is this the best the league has to offer?" he asks as he looks on unamused with him. "You can chop my hands up, bleed me dry, whatever you want. I wont die." [break][break]

His grimmsnarl is slammed into by the counter the scizor used as it dealt a great deal of damage to the fairy dark type pokemon. After witnessing all that damage it just dealt, bryan whistles to his grimmsnarl as the pokemon starts to swirl with energy and unleash's it's Z-MOVE, MEMENTO MORI. The grimmsnarl's hair unbundles and extends rapidly as it aims to wrap around iron valiant to sap it's health and restore it's own. The brute bonnet reacts wildly as it uses RAGE POWDER to redirect the MOON BLAST onto ITSELF.

Navy curses his own fear. When he feels his fist slam into the other man’s meaty palm, he feels a rush of fear. What the hell is he supposed to do against someone like this? Maybe Thomas is right. Maybe the League needs its avatars. Maybe…[break][break]
No. That is one intrusive thought he will not, can not allow. Even if he doesn’t have the backing of a legendary, he still has his team. Each of them he trusts with his life. Roland suffers in the distance. The Z-move and the collective damage is enough to send him over the edge. The Iron Valiant crumples at the Grimmsnarl’s feet, returning to Navy’s side in a surge of red light.[break][break]
“I don’t give a shit what you can do.” He headbutts Bryan, hitting his hard head against the mask he uses to hide his face from the world. It’s an act of dumb defiance, a howl against the void. He won’t back down – not when so many depend on both his survival and his success.[break][break]
“I’m still gonna fight you. Tough bastard.” He tries to sweep Bryan’s leg with a kick.[break][break]
“What kinda world do you want?!”[break][break]
Musashi rushes to the Brute Bonnet in the midst of the confusion. He zig-zags in a U pattern, striking the creature before rushing back to Navy’s side. At the end of his u-turn, he pulls Tormund from his pokeball. The little cat hides in the surf at his master’s side, waiting for a chance to strike.

The Brute bonnet takes the hit head on and it's eyes gloss over, Bryan had thought it regained more health from the giga drain than he actually did, the distraction of paying attention to brute bonnet is enough to cause bryan to not see the leg sweep coming. [break][break]

He falls to the floor, face meeting the sand of the shore as the man prods him further, asking what kind of world he wanted to see himself. "One where the league is destroyed for keeping my from saving her" he says the ground shakes and a vine emerges from underneath him and he melts into it to escape momentarily. [break][break]

"One where no one can limit me anymore, one where I can do as I please." he adds as the voice continues to move among the trees "I could have been a "good" person like you, a gym leader, according to some of your colleagues. But those "laws" you uphold so dearly kept me from saving someone who was INNOCENT." he says as suddenly two vines burst forth from the tree as a Zarude emerges from the tree and uses vine whip to pull in Michael Navidson towards the treeline [break][break]

His goal was to pull the man into a terrain that would be his advantage. Meanwhile Grimmsnarl focuses on the scizor and leaps into the air and tries to use HAMMER ARM on the bug to pin him in place.

“I’m sorry.” He speaks the words in a voice steeped with emotion, even as vines pull him inland. Fighting against a man, even a strong man, is within the realm of reason. Resisting the pull of a Pokémon, much less a legendary one, isn’t. Struggling, he tries to grip a knife and tear at the vines. His blade finds no purchase against the legendary’s attack.[break][break]
Luckily, he is not alone. Tormund dashes towards his trainer. Raising his dagger-claws, they move to cleave through the vines. Musashi and Grimmsnarl busy themselves with mortal combat. Owing to Tormund the mighty’s steely spirit, the Scizor’s impressive bullet punch grows mightier still, slamming into the Grimmsnarl as the other punch takes him in the chin. His armored carapace shatters. Only the rapid beating of the wings keep him standing.[break][break]
“The League’s full of shit. There’s no justice in the world except the justice you make for yourself.” dahlia goode’s happiest little soldier says, a dyed in the wool loyalist through and through. “But that don’t give you the right to hurt others.” Standing up, Tormund on his shoulder, the sheriff adjusts his posture. Fists raised, he’s ready to fight.[break][break]
“For what it’s worth…hope you killed the bastard that hurt her, whoever she was.”

He clenches his fist in response to the assumptions he made. "No one harmed her physically." he responds. "Why not ask your precious council woman for the full story? PENELOPE LIVY knows the whole thing since her and CIAN MAHER are so fucking nosey." [break][break]

His grimmsnarl responds to the bullet punch by moving backwards with his arms up forming an X, using PROTECT to try and stop the BULLET PUNCH from assaulting him. The protect's shimmering light starts to crack however as the STEELY SPIRIT starts to enhance the attack further and Bryan responds in kind. The grimmsnarl shines in a dazzling light and it MEGA EVOLVES due to the keystone on his cuff earing. [break][break]

"I did. Set all of littleroot on fire too, they were all guilty for what happen. he grins as suddenly the scizor intervenes and cuts off the vine whip from pulling him any closer to the shore line. "But mr navidson I do have that authority, to seek out my own justice, a power much higher than the league's. I'm the life bringer, Xerneas's chosen. Who are you to tell me what to do? he says as Bryan uses said abilities to start to bend some of the vines in the forest to rush out towards him in an attempt to restrain his scizor as Zarude lends it's aid with his own power.
