His first battle in the sky had not gone very well - but that didn't mean he was off. He still had plenty of flight-capable Pokemon, and he himself was in fine condition, so back up in the air he went.

This time, he was atop a shiny Corviknight. It wasn't the first time he'd been atop one, but it was the first time he was riding his own. He wasn't too familiar with how it battled; he at least knew its moves. Hopefully it wasn't too rough while he was atop it; he already had enough issues orienting himself up high.

And helping him with that last part was his Orbeetle, who floated besides him. Its Telepathy would help, but he'd already found out once he was not a good sky battler.

Bryan spots a familiar face in the skies. That kid again, he kept showing up and putting his nose in places it didn't really belong. "Fairy lock." he orders as the Klefki attached to his belt locks the air around him to prevent escape as a shimmering pink orb manifests in the sky with the sound of chains wrapping around it filled the air. "Steel beam." he orders as suddenly the corviknight HE was also riding on sqwaks loudly, most likely alerting his target of his presence and a beam of light flies towards Hideo.

Hideo could hear the locks appear, cutting his Corviknight off from escaping the area - and a beam attack fired towards his team - at him in particular, according to his Orbeetle.

His Corvinknight was quick to act, moving its body upwards to get Hideo out of the line of fire. The Steel Beam did hit the Corviknight, and even if it wasn't a very effective attack, it was still a strong one - but the Corviknight still flew.

Hideo clung to its back, holding on tight. Seems they'd finally found a Rocket, and his Orbeetle gave him a quick rundown of their opponent: they also had a Corviknight, with a Klefki as support. The Orbeetle didn't recognize their attacker, but it was a big guy.

Whoever it was, it was time to fight back. Aware his opponent played dirty, Hideo tapped the button on his Sygna Suit, activating it; he'd stay a bit safer from any other cheap shots.

And just in time too: his Corviknight flew up, the dove straight down at the opposing Corviknight, aiming a Brave Bird right for it.

"Watch it, you dick!" Hideo shouted at the attacker, "You just trying to kill anyone you see?!"

He grins as the kid seemingly got serious off the bat as a brave bird and a sygnasuit at thrown at him. [break][break]

He tries to use SCARY FACE to slow them down but it proved to be pointless as the brave bird still made contact and rocked the both of them. However as hideo got close, Bryan used his avatar abilities and tried to grab at least one of the wings of the enemy corviknight "Only the ones who are important to the league. Right Hideo?" he grins

"Weird they let a kid join, but I suppose Eris Halla is in rocket, or was, don't really know anymore. He then tries to punch the bird and releases it hoping that'd shake him loose. He didn't really want to kill a kid but if it was for the benefit of rocket and himself, he would.

Hideo's Orbeetle didn't recognize the man, so it couldn't tell him exactly who it was. Perhaps if Hideo had brought his Beheeyem into the air, the Pokemon would've recognized the man instantly - and warned him.

Hearing the man's voice immediately told Hideo who he was dealing with. It was that dickwad. "As if you needed a reason last time," Hideo spat back, noticing his Corviknight was struggling to…get out of the guy's grasp? It's what his Orbeetle was telling him.

Of course the guy would just grab a bird Pokemon mid-air. Of course he'd go and punch it too. Hideo held on close, his Corviknight pushed back a good distance.

The guy was lucky he let go afterwards; Hideo was just about ready to tell his Corviknight to pluck the guy off his own Pokemon. Instead, he turned to his Orbeetle. "If he tries that again, Psychic him or something."

He pat the wing of his own bird, a quick signal: the Corviknight's wing glowed a bright silver as it went for a slash against the man's Corviknight, a quick Steel Wing. It'd try to use that momentum to fly away in the process, to avoid getting grabbed again.

The Orbeetle's attention, meanwhile, was squarely on the man.

His corviknight was slammed into by the steel wing, he thought about getting close again to grab it but he had heard the order he gave the orbeetle. He wasn't too excited to find out how it felt to regenerate from falling down from very high and into the ocean below[break][break]

He frowns as he gives his order to klefki "Dazzling gleam, blind them." he knew the move wasn't super effective but he was NOT built for sky battles, half of his pokemon were not able to fight in the air like this. However, there was one pokemon he could think of that he hasn't used in a while. "Comfey!" he shouts as the pokemon emerges from it's pokeball and wraps onto his wrist, a technique he stole from Greyson Connors. [break][break]

"leech seed!" he shouts as several seeds sprout on the flowers of comfey's body and aimed to launch themselves onto the corviknight

As much as Hideo didn't like this guy, actually killing him wasn't something he wanted to do. "Psychic him or something" was more of a "shove him away" kind of deal, or at least throw him in a way a Pokemon could catch.

(Perhaps he'd be a bit less lenient if he knew of the man's regenerative abilities.)

It was growing clear that he was gonna need some more ranged firepower, if he actually wanted to get through this without tossing the guy off. Hideo took out a new Pokeball, letting out his Starmie.

Just in time for the man to fire some seeds at him and his Pokemon. Great. And aimed right for his Corviknight, and Hideo wasn't eager to go down again. "Singer, stop those seeds!" Hideo ordered.

Unfortunately, at the moment, there was only one way for his Starmie to do so: it flew in front of the seeds, latching on to it. It kept Hideo's Corviknight safe, though now the Starmie was on its own timer.

One Hideo wasn't eager to wait out. "Now freeze that Pokemon that shot out those seeds!" A Comfey, by his Orbeetle's information.

Though the Orbeetle did leave out that said Comfey was on the man's wrist - and Hideo's Starmie didn't use much discretion in its targeting as it fired an Ice Beam at the Comfey.

Bryan spots the ice beam rushing in on his comfey he tries to move it out of the way but the comfey moves his wrist before he can resist as it didn't want him to take the attack. She freezes around his wrist momentarily and he growls at the kid, his ability to cleanse status effects activates as the ice around the comfey cracks and breaks on it's own. [break][break]

She shakes off the ice and looks at hideo angrily. It starts to spin around bryan's wrist as he extends his arm to launch a MAGICAL LEAF against the STARMIE. He grips onto klefki and spins it around his finger before flinging it at Hideo as it charges in with a PLAY ROUGH.

The Ice Beam struck - though it wasn't as effective as Hideo hoped. "Would'a thought that was super-effective," he muttered, before his Orbeetle (Telepathically) interrupted him, pointing out he was getting the typing wrong.

It took him a moment to remember Comfey was a Fairy-type, not a Grass-type. Whoops.

Just in time to hear his Starmie get hit by a Magical Leaf. "Singer, get'em back for that! Spew'em!"

The retaliatory Hydro Pump was quick to follow, once more aimed for the Comfey - and if it just happened to get the guy the Comfey was on, Hideo wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

His attention was more on the incoming Klefki that got flung at him - the one his Orbeetle immediately warned him about. Sygna Suit or not, Hideo was not keen on getting assaulted by any Pokemon.

A quick couple pats on his Corviknight, and the big bird pulled up, taking the Play Rough for its trainer - and quickly retaliating with a Steel Wing to shove it away.

It manages to land onto the corviknight but the fellow steel type greatly resisted the attack as the baby key's attacks didn't do very much. A steel wing catches it suddenly and sends it flying back towards Bryan who just barely manages to grab it. He wasn't keen to find out if it can just fly in the air instead of hovering near the ground. [break][break]

"Spotlight!" he orders as the comfey was still free to act as it's ILLUMINA MARKINGS activate, managing to channel the power of spotlight to instead hit corviknight. Corviknight would be able to take it better than comfey and Bryan. [break][break]

"Ugh little pest!" he growls as Bryan began to grow annoyed that a child was dancing toe to toe to him now. Especially since he had caused so many problems for him during little root. He was growing too quickly.

The Hydro Pump spewed out - towards the Corviknight, drawn over by the Spotlight that shined upon it. Not what Hideo aimed for, but a hit was a hit; every little bit brought his opponent that much closer to defeat.

A bit of joy ran through Hideo; this was going a lot better than their meeting at Littleroot. He could go toe-to-toe with a Rocket avatar now, meeting as equals in combat rather than literally fighting the man standing above him. He was getting better at this.

Hideo noted that the Spotlight came from an Illumina Pokemon - the Comfey around the man's wrist - but his focus was now on the Corviknight (whether he wanted it to be or not). "Singer, hit the bird with a beam. See if you can freeze it."

The Starmie took the shot, an Ice Beam aimed for the spotlit Corviknight.

The ice beam freezes the water over their skin, all of his pokemon were frozen at once by the beam. He begins to plummet as the bird could no longer flap it's wings and sustain them in the air. He panics, he was falling quickly, he tries to clear the ice off of him and his own pokemon using his ability to heal status effects. [break][break]

But after the ice was cured, the ice chips falling off of him one by one, the bird doesn't wake up. It fainted?! Bryan takes out his back up Pokémon, a Tropius emerges from the pokeball as Bryan falls onto it's back in an awkward transfer yet he flies back up towards Hideo as comfey releases a SWEET SCENT. Tropius roars and flaps his wings wildly as it uses WHIRLWIND to push the sweet scent further and try to rock Hideo off of his mount.

There was a bit of satisfaction knowing he'd managed to knock out his opponent's mount, but it wasn't full satisfaction; he felt a conflicting sense of wanting to catch the guy so he wouldn't fall (or drown) to death, mixed with knowing that the guy would probably survive whatever fate befell him.

He resisted telling his Pokemon to catch the guy the moment the Tropius came out, and let go of his uneasiness; he couldn't underestimate this guy. And his Corviknight had a bit more of an advantage against this kind of Pokemon.

An advantage didn't guarantee a victory, though. That Sweet Scent signaled another attack was coming - and Hideo felt the Whirlwind blow through the air - and felt himself lifted up off his Corviknight.

But the moment he was lifted up, he was pushed back down Psychically by his Orbeetle, ensuring the boy wasn't blown away.

Hideo wouldn't take that lying down. "Singer, give him another taste of your ice! Go and-"

He was interrupted by a Telepathic message from his Orbeetle, notifying him of his Starmie's condition - not so great. It tired itself out with all those attacks, and the Leech Seed's damage accumulate; it was only a moment later that his Orbeetle told him the Starmie was starting to descend, having lost consciousness.

Hideo immediately recalled it into its ball. "Crap. Orby, you get'em then. Get'em all."

The Orbeetle gladly obliged, a red aura surrounding it. The aura drew inside of its body - then fired forth at the man and his team, the Bug Buzz aiming for them all.

"Petal blizard!" he shouts as he tries to push back against the petal blizzard as his pokemon started to grow tired and a not very effective move wasn't going to be very succesful in pushing it back.
