With his Corviknight healed up (and fed), Hideo could once more focus on the offense. Hideo took out his Tera Orb, tossing it at his Ribombee. A tiny crown sat upon the tiny Ribombee's head, a silvery shimmering covering the Pokemon, denoting its new (temporary) steel-typing.

Just in time for the man to charge him atop the Tropius. His invigorated Corviknight took the charge easily enough, but his Pokemon were too slow to stop the Comfey from latching itself onto Hideo's arm. His Sygna Suit protected him decently enough, but he could still feel the drain from that kiss.

While his Pokemon couldn't stop the attack, they could certainly retaliate: the Ribombee would launch a Steel-type Tera Blast at it, to knock it off the boy.

And just in time for the bird to get punched back by the man again; thankfully, its earlier heal kept it up in the air.

The Orbeetle floating by his side notified him that the Fairy Lock from before had worn off - and they'd spent a lot of time fighting this guy. Tempting as it was to try and take down an avatar, it didn't feel like he was making too much progress here. And now the guy was deliberately trying to get him hurt.

Screw it.

"Think we should get out of here," he said, "I think we did well enough for now." Which they had; their first encounter had Hideo on the backfoot the entire battle. This time, he'd fought on equal footing. Not like he'd be losing any ground here; he could report that the Rocket avatar was up here, so the rest of the League could be prepared for him.

His Corviknight took a 180-degree turn, and darted out of the area.

It definitely beat getting knocked out of the sky like with that last Rocket he fought up here.

The tera blast slams into his comfey, knocking it out as the pokemon couldn't restore enough health in time to defend itself. [break][break]

The comfey slips off of the wrist it was holding onto and begins to plummet. "Shit!" he yells as he dives after it. Normally he wouldn't sacrifice himself for a pokemon that was disposable in his eyes, but this one was special from the hatchery. "No no no!" he shouts as tropius dives faster than him and catches it. [break][break]

He slams into the tropius and they barrel into the sea below. He dives to the surface, recovering quickly thanks to his ability to stave off death and he looks up to the sky, scanning for that kid again before he punches the water, he managed to escape. "FUCK." he screams in a rage
