A groan left Tempest as he pulled himself onto the beach.[break][break]

His hand was clutched over his side, red and weeping blood into the sand.[break][break]

Fucking hell. He should have been paying more attention.[break][break]

His comms crackled and fizzled in his ear. It didn't seem like anyone he could trust was nearby....[break][break]

Huffing, he returned his Sharpedo to her pokeball and started to push his way inland. If he could find a rock to hide behind while he patched himself up, maybe then he would be okay.[break][break]

Too bad he wasn't alone.

Another hotspot of action! Aaron didn't know nor care the why this time. He just grabbed a balanced team and went to the location, stocked on revives and potions. He hoped to be the biggest pain in the neck for Team Rocket! With a certain degree of bloodlust in his amber eyes, he walked along the shore of Route 105, looking for targets. He might help out League aligned folks, but his main goal was just putting as much hurt on Rocket as possible. The teenager barely saw someone crawl onto the beach in the distance, returning some water Pokemon he didn't get a glimpse of. Walking closer, he noticed the clothing...and the blood.

Someone already got their ass beat. Well, time to kick'em while they're down then. Hell...let's spook them even more! Releasing Magias the Flutter Mane, he spoke a single sentence that may have alerted the man to his presence. "Cut him off, use Mystical Fire." The odd ghost bellowed out a blue flame, turning the sand below it black along its path, to cut across the injured Rocket's path. "You're not going anywhere."

The wound pulled when Tempest flinched, jerking his head around at the sound of an attack.[break][break]

Thankfully, though wounded, Temp was still in his right mind. A hand rushed to his hip as he tried to dart out of the way of the attack. Bongo slammed down at his feet, the Zarude snarling as the flames licked around him.[break][break]

"They sending fucking kids to fight these things now?" Tempest growled out, disgusted as he flicked his eyes up and down Aaron Toral.[break][break]

Well, whatever. If he had to kick a kid's ass, he would.[break][break]

"Bongo." Was the silent order. The Zarude shook himself off before he started to glow- soon enough crystal energy surrounded him. Clear but with a soft tint of blue, he bared his fangs before sinking his fingers into the ground. Big chunks of sandstone were pulled from the ground, flung at Aaron and his odd pokemon to form a Sand Tomb.

Aaron scowled at the guy. "What are you talking about? I'm here of my own volition to put as much hurt on you scumbags as possible. Magias, Moonblast!" As the Flutter Mane glowed pink, the Zarude terrastalized, throwing rocks at the two. The ghost type fired a large, pink blast of energy that destroyed all of the rocks, but the two attacks essentially cancelled out. Blue? Was that Zarude now a water type? He could switch to something with a bit more punch. But he also wanted to put Magias through their paces.

"Wish." Magias glowed dark blue for a minute, preparing for the next Pokemon. Or reccovering depending on what the other man wanted to do. He was still a bit miffed at automatically being assumed that he was sent by the League to fight them. Talk about a twisted view of reality. Aaron had his own beef with the League, with specific members at least, but come on. As if Rocket was any better with Eris Halla! Maybe others!

It's dismissive, Tempest scowls at Aaron Toral and narrows his eyes at the other.[break][break]

Well, if this kid wanted to run with the big dogs he wouldn't hold back on showing him his fangs.[break][break]

Tempest clicks his tongue, the Zarude snarling. They were setting up? Fine. Bongo shook himself out, the crystal of his body clicking and clattering, summoning a Sunny Day.

Ace barked a laugh. "Only if you're not a chump like every single one of you I've faced so far!" And he wasn't the one that was injured. So who really was the stupid one? More so when the guy had his Zarude use a Sunny Day. Oh boy was this guy up for a surprise! With an evil smirk, he watched as Magias screamed, a red glow surrounding her as it activated her ability. And increased her firepower. In two ways.

The first being the creature's Protosynthesis, increasing her special attack. The second...her Mystical Fire and the effect Sunny Day had on fire-type moves. "Mystical Fire! Burn that monkey to a crisp!" She shot out a stream of blue flames that turned the sand beneath it into crackled glass. For the Pokemon's sake, the small blonde hoped the guy either switched or it knew some really good defensive move...

Magias wasn't the only one whose ability activated during the sun. The Leaf Guard around Bongo swirled as it thickened in his coat, helping to protect him from the attack. It was powerful- more powerful than before thanks to the boost in energy and the sunlight. But it still sizzled as it hit him, doing little as steam rose from his crystalline body.[break][break]

Screeching and leaping forward, Bongo spun around, darkness gathering around his limbs to try and slam into the other pokemon with a Darkest Lariat.[break][break]

Tempest, meanwhile, had straightened up some and caught his breath. The hand was still pressed to his wounded side but he kept his eyes on the battle before them.[break][break]

"Predictable." Was muttered, just loud enough for Aaron Toral to hear.

Ace wasn't that familiar with Zarude. Even as leaves grew and protected the Pokemon enough for the Mystical Fire to not one-shot it. And managed to get off a Darkest Lariat. Magias didn't have great defense, so the physical move definitely hurt...a lot. It toughed it out, barely, and while the Wish did help by healing it, it wouldn't be enough to stop another attack from knocking it out. Still, that had to have hurt. Predictable, maybe. Effective, very much so. The steam from the initial attack did give him clues as to what was "Bongo's" new type. And he had an answer to that one. But he had a different idea.

But first, let's put as much hurt as possible on his precious Zarude. "Mystical Fire, one last time." At that command, Magias put everything they had into it, and bellowed out the mightiest flame it could at the Zarude, hopefully that Leaf Guard already burnt to ashes. Ace already had two pokeballs in his hands, one to return Magias before the Rocket could do more than just knock it out, and another to send out a new Pokemon, and a new plan. He had to get a tera orb at some point...

"You fight like this is a video game. You're shit at this, kid." And Tempest wasn't one of those Rockets who got all up in arms about morality for punting an stupid child.[break][break]

He grunts, relaxed as he takes another step back. Not concerned about Aaron Toral or his strange pokemon at all.[break][break]

The attack landed. But it had a dual purpose. Bongo had closed distance.[break][break]

Since all Aaron did was use the same attack over and over, Bongo had no issues with hopping out of the way. The great burst of flame barely even singed the leaves growing over him.[break][break]

"End it, Bongo."[break][break]

Bongo leaped to attack- to Power Whip a vine to slap and snap. Only it wasn't aiming for the ghost type. Bongo was aiming for Aaron, to try and attack the boy instead.
