Fire, Grass, and Water.[break][break]

Agni, Tulip, and Slushie were at his sides. The three Eeveelutions peering around curiously as they walked. It wasn't often that they came to visit the Safari Zone- but something about the promise of autumn in the air had him feeling nostalgic to just wander around and spend some time with his pokemon.[break][break]

Tempest didn't think he would be catching very much today. It was less about the pokemon and more about the chance to relax.

A shadow zipped from the bushes.[break][break]

Agni was on it in an instant, the shadow Flareon ready to rip into the poor pokemon for existing. Her teeth were sharp as blades; but with a quick action from Tempest, a sharp whistle, she still stood down before she could kill it.[break][break]

... re-kill it? How did Ghost types work anyway?[break][break]

Regardless, Tempest had her drop the poor Yamask as they went on their way.

A cornfield rose high next to the path. The long stalks were dry and brown; already plucked free of corn, the stalks were just waiting to be taken down and repurposed for something else. It did make ti spooky looking, at least.[break][break]

A Zubat flit from the field, tiny wings flapping as it kept itself aloft.[break][break]

A small whistle.[break][break]

Slushie's ears perked up, an Ice Beam being fired at the bat. It froze solid, unable to stand the hit, and Tempest tossed a pokeball at it with a shrug.

Tempest picks up the pokeball and tucks it into his pocket.[break][break]

He'd find something to do with it.[break][break]

Tempest and his pokemon wander down the path. In the distance, the sound of a chainsaw revs to life. Ah, yeah, this was supposed to be horror themed wasn't it? Maybe some person hired to scare him would burst from the corn any moment.[break][break]

Well, Tempest wasn't much scared of that at least. It did seem to startle a Murkrow, though, who burst from a tree in some panic.[break][break]

Much like the Zubat, Slushie fired off an Ice Beam at the bird. It dropped into a chunk of ice. Tempest made sure to toss a ball at it before Agni tried to eat it.

Some weird looking bug skittered out from a bush while Tempest went to collect the latest pokeball. He curled his lip up at it, shooing it away with his hands.[break][break]

The Tarantula hissed at him before darting away, crawling under a large rock and out of sight.[break][break]

Ah, for the best.[break][break]

"That thing looked gross." He briefly wondered if there was a newspaper big enough to squish that spider before moving on.

Given all the other pokemon that had wandered out of the cornfield, Tempest didn't expect the blind dragon type.[break][break]

Most of the pokemon themed to this Safari had been of the spookier types. Bats, crows, spiders, ghosts... this lil guy was cute, and a dark type, but she wasn't really that typical super creepy sort.[break][break]

Temp clicked his tongue and pointed at it. The Deino growled, but was soon slammed with an Ice Beam by Slushie.[break][break]

Tempest gave a look to the Vaporeon, who looked very pleased with herself, before he shook his head and tossed a pokeball at the dragon type.

While Temp was collecting the latest capture when he noticed the weird... bug?[break][break]

It was clinging to the underside of the pokeball. Tempest wrinkled his nose when it clung fitfully to the ball.[break][break]

It seemed... harmless at least. Tiny and helpless and shaking when he peered at it.[break][break]

Well... nothing to help it![break][break]

"Agni?" The Flareon spat out some flame when Tempest held the ball close to her, the fire type eager to blast it with heat after Slushie had kept taking her 'kills'. Petal was just happy to be there, at least.[break][break]

As Agni roasted it, it struggled... and Temp felt a small tug on his heart. With a grumbling sigh, he tapped his last Safari Ball on it before Agni could cook it alive.[break][break]

Well, he'd just have to pawn it off on someone. Maybe howard slayte wanted a weird, crispy bug.
