Were there flying types out here? Absolutely. But the last thing that El and Akero expected to find was a wild Vespiquen, drifting about. Though they knew that sometimes you had Vespiquens who went out in search of the perfect home for a new hive, for themselves and their charmed Combee... This place seemed a bit ways out, for a Vespiquen to wander!

Drifting close, it'd take a bit of interpretation on Bibidi's part - but they'd be able to point the queenly bee in the right direction, towards safe land.

With the Vespiquen sent off towards the nearest safe harbor, El was free to resume observing and studying the local fauna. Which, their next sighting would end up being a group of Shellder - just beneath the waves, in the crystal-clear water.

They'd direct Akero to glide just above the waters, allowing the both of them to observe the bivalves in motion. At a glance, it was hard to tell what they were up to - but El could, at the very least, be content that signs pointed to this being a healthy population.

Thus, they'd simply continue to observe the water-types - all up until one of the Shellder noticed their presence, prompting the group of bivalves to scatter and disappear into the depths.

It was one thing for a Vespiquen to show up out here - because at least for a flying pokemon, they weren't in immediate peril. In fact, El found that it was pretty easy to ride the winds with Akero - which would surely let any flying-types out here conserve their strength, and even glide to the nearest landmass.

It was another thing, to find a completely landbound pokemon out in the waters. While their throat sac could theoretically aid in flotation, it only took a glance for El to tell that this Cyclizar did not love the situation it was in, not one bit. Even if it was able to stay afloat, it was thrashing with its limbs as if in a frenzied attempt to swim against the currents - but to little avail.

Which prompted El to come in close with Akero. "You need some help, buddy?" They questioned - pulling out an empty pokeball. It would be the best way to transport the dragon to land that they had on hand - and they could release it once they reached the shore.

(Assuming it wouldn't decide that it preferred sticking around, at least.)
