A stabbing pain starts in his arm which then echoes out throughout the rest of his body, the sound of bone snapping coincided with a scream from Noel. He jumps back to retreat for a moment as he holds onto his broken arm with the other, the pain wouldn't subside and with it out of use, his chance of survival seemed much worse. His faced winced in agony as he looked to his enemy out of breath, panting heavily as all the energy was slowly leaving his body.[break][break]

"I'll never surrender to the likes of Rocket. No matter how much you hurt me I'll never give in. Not until all of you are wiped from this land."[break][break]

The harrowing punch lands its mark against the icy Pokemon, however its not enough to dislodge its fangs from the Haunter's body. It holds steadfast even though its body is damaged and and by all means should have fallen by now. But this was no time for failure. It sinks its teeth in deeper and deeper as ice slowly encases the floating ghost's body. This last ditch effort would have to be enough or else both it and its trainer were done for.

Fear creeps its way into his psyche. His legs are unable to respond to his command, he's left standing there watching, as if in slow motion, as the blade comes his way. This couldn't be his end, losing to the likes of Rocket was something he simply could not let happen. He was going to show the world one day just exactly what he's capable of and if he fell here, he wouldn't be worthy of even attempting his dream of becoming the champion.[break][break]

From this desire, a newfound courage instills into every inch of his body. Letting the sword come down onto his body, the blade lodges itself deep into his shoulder. Blood spurts out, splashing onto both his own and his opponent's face, however, no reaction comes from the blue-haired boy. Instead a fiery passion burns in his eyes as he looks straight into his foe's very being.[break][break]

"I can't die here, not when there's still so much to do and people to see out in the world. Not when my wish to be the best still hasn't been fulfilled. And not when people like you are out here making life miserable for everyone. As long as I'm alive, I will keep coming back up no matter how many times I'm knocked down."[break][break]

Placing his unbroken hand onto the masked man's shoulder, he steels himself ready for one final desperation move. He winds his head backwards and thrusts it forward in an attempt to headbutt his foe. All meanwhile a platoon of League reinforcements arrive with Pokemon in tow to support Noel in his endeavor. His Glaceon, now free from battling, goes to assist its trainer. Rushing with a speed it had never shown off before, it leaps forward and charges its body against the swordsman in an attempt to Take him Down in a two front attack.

[break][break] Those words never make to the Cursed's lips. For the boy crashes his head into the man's ribs, jerking him and his swords away. The weapons fly into the sky just as he grits his teeth and skids backwards against the sand.

[break][break] Recruitments have come. Far too many for Jayden to battle alone, as much as he would like it too.
