Well, for one, a Geodude certainly wasn’t it. Sure, maybe it’d fit in with Anne and the Rockruffs… But in all honesty, she wanted a growlithe – or an arcanine, like Josh did – and she was sure a place like this would be the perfect habitat to find one in! It was hot (at least, particularly when it wasn’t starting to get into the latter parts of fall,) like a fire-type would appreciate… And it was rough ‘n rocky like a rock-type would! Though so far, there was no luck to be had.

Ah well. She had plenty of time – there was sure to be other wild pokemon out here.

A Coalossal - large, imposing and certainly a strong pokemon. But it wasn't exactly what Ettie was looking for, either.

Though it'd certainly take the pack a bit by surprise when they had ended up a bit closer to the rock-type than intended, neither side was looking for a fight. Thus, they both would part their respective ways as Ettie continued searching about.

And finally, came a pokemon that Ettie hadn't seen before - some sort of reptile, that was clearly a fire-type. But she didn't have a name she could put to it otherwise; what was this fellow?

There was a part of her that wanted to come close and try to investigate the Crocalor - because new was fun! And her curiosity and intrigue were piqued! But sadly, as soon as the Crocalor took notice of Ettie's pack, the wild fire-type would decide to skedaddle - clearly not wanting to take any risks when she was vastly outnumbered.

Ah well. Perhaps she'll find something of interest another time.
