[attr="class","inner-finally"]Today was another day off this time he somewhat felt at peace, but he had his first mission later that day. The voices in his head had been arguing all day long. Today he was sitting by the water's edge just behind the pokemart today was a day where he had his best friend his first ever Pokémon with him. He only ever had her out when he wasn't doing anything team rocket related. This was also the only Pokémon he treated like his mom taught him to treat Pokémon. By far she was the Pokémon that liked him most.

Umi was a Palafin he had gotten when he was on vacation in another region. He had spent the week on the beach every day playing catch the pokeball with her. When it was time for him to leave, he said goodbye tossing the pokeball to her one more time. To his surprise this smart clever girl had hit the button with her nose. Soon she was his forever. The two have spent their lives together since then. He would sit there on the side of the water tossing her pokeball in letting it sink to the bottom then letting her go get it. His brown, violet eyes looking at the water watching for his Pokémon to resurface.

[attr="class","inner-finally1"]Despite her best attempts, Petalburg has always managed to stir a discordant pot of emotions and memories. And yet, it is a place that she pushes herself to go all the same, if only for the fact that she believes in facing those monsters just to keep them small.[break][break]

Watching the most mundane bits of life is what helps to add a sense of stability to the madness, her eyes flitting over the man that keeps throwing his pokeball into the water. It's a strange way of playing catch. Then again, she supposes that playing catch with underwater creatures is always a little on the weird side.[break][break]

A soft bump against her brings a soft smile to her face, even if she has to crane her head a little just to see him.[break][break]

"You're not the kind to play catch in the open."[break][break]

He huffs, but the way he shifts his gaze is all too telling.

[attr="class","inner-finally"] Bryce hadn't even noticed anyone watching him. He and is palafin kept playing until one of his other pokemon got board of bieng in its pokeball the one that could get him found out in his mind. As a tiny flash of light came from one of the other pokeballs in his bag. "Crap" he said under his breath knowing who liked to cause trouble for him. It was Zorrow his male zorua. "Zorrow get back in your ball" he said trying to quickly do it still unaware someone was watching them.

He then noticed them when zorrow went bounding towards the girl and her what looked like a luxray. Crap did they see that he wondered but first returned his favorite Pokémon. He ran after the little fox "Come on zorrow not today" he said complaining. Zorrow had timed it perfectly and managed to turn on a dime sending him tumbling into the dirt. As it laughed at its trainer who was now covered in dirt. "Come on zorrow why you have to do this every time" he said. Not feeling like he could use his dad's methods while someone was watching. He was usually so intimidating that zorrow didn't dare do this except on his days off.

Stepping back to give the approaching strangers space, she almost seems to mimic Reiner's way of raising his brow. A mischievous Zorua really isn't anything out of the ordinary, but she wonders just what had been going through this person's head when they named their pokemon.[break][break]

[attr="class","inner-finally"] Bryce finally caught him and pinned him to the ground with his hands "D*** it Zarrow" he said grabbing the pokemon by the back of the neck as the pokemon got scared. "You cause way too much trouble for me why?" he said as he took it back to where palafin was waiting. He sat the pokemon down "Now stay" he said angrily. Zorrow got sad and sat still. Then he went back to playing with palafin not aware someone had heard or seen the sence that just happened.

He was just glad that his giveaway member of team rocket didn't usually come out. Although Sol wasn't a usual pokemon for team rocket to have. He was the pokemon he only used when on those missions. He watched palafin trying to cheer him up as he smiled a little. "Always there for me aren't ya girl" he said petting her. He then looked down at the zorua and felt bad for how he treated her, but he was still confused on if he should raise him like a rocket member or himself. The voices arguing telling him to raise it nice and one saying to treat it harshly. He didn't know what to do at this time.

[attr="class","inner-finally1"]Though she had simply been watching, there is a part of her that nearly leaps right at this man when she sees just how roughly he handles the Zorua. The fear that it emanates is palpable, the rigidity it now displays a stark contrast to how most Zorua's act in the wild. And the way he simply goes back to playing with his Palafin, as if he's done nothing wrong.[break][break]

There is a rather fine line between discipline and oppression.[break][break]

Frowning, she kneels down, trying to catch the Zorua's attention with a few big and flashy hand gestures. Then pull a berry from her satchel and attempt to wave it about, as if trying to tempt it closer to her. If this man really is mistreating his pokemon, her best bet would be to try and separate the two, then bring the Zorua somewhere safe. And she can't exactly do that if she's well within punching range.
