She noticed a Arctozolt looking at it she was surprised to see one it was her two favorite types combined. But when watching it she notices it had some eggs around it even though they don't have eggs it was taking care of some. She couldn't just take it away from the eggs, so she decided to just draw a picture of it and then left although she didn't really. She looked back at her drawing it wasn't very good, so she wrote it down in a journal making note of it and when she saw it and what happened. Soon though something came out of her pocket it was Van. Although he flopped around cause the ground due to there being no water. The sound startled the Pokémon. So, she quickly returned van and picked up Mic and ran. She later stopped running sighing that was bad. She had gone father up the hill. She looked at her little mouse and pet him. "Well, that was bad" she smiled.

She then let out the rest of the team that could actually be out to let them play while she held van so he could watch every so often getting him wet with the water bottle she had. Mic was on Sarina's back; Nickel was flying around Jerika as she did a dance. Van bit her hand as usual "owe come on I know you miss your old trainer but come on you will see him again when we take the first gym challenge" she said.

The continued up the hill and noticed something she never thought she would see it was a Gallade. She started making notes of what it seemed to be doing it seemed to be settling a Pokémon dispute between another Pokémon. Which she thought was sweet. One of the Pokémon had startled, and she squealed. And ended up tipping and started falling down the large hill. She closed her eyes ready for impact, but she was surprised it never came. The Pokémon spoke using its psychic type powers "Are you alright?" to her surprise the Pokémon had caught her. The gallade that had just been helping the Pokémon helped her a random stranger. This seemed like similar to what she wanted to do.

She talked with the Pokémon introducing herself and thanking him for saving her. She had learned this Pokémon's old trainer was a ranger but had died while out on a mission. Although he had no trainer anymore, he still kept doing the same duty him and his trainer used to do. He then noticed her badge on her armband. "So, you're a ranger too" he said. She nodded "I have a dream to help all and every Pokémon even if I have to face other humans to do it" she said. He nodded understanding after some time he asked if he could join her. He looked at her hoping she would accept. She nodded taking out a pokeball letting him make the choice.
