"Cool" she smiled as the woman explained why she chose to be a ranger. Katrina herself had become a ranger because she was inspired by her brother to do so plus she felt it would be a way to escape her fathers eye. When the girl mentioned she had some siblings katrina smiled "I have my older brother edward, my little brothers Logan, Maccay and Malcom. Only two of them I know really well. The other two are much younger than me so I didnt get much time to know them. They are back in Unova" she said explaining more about her family. "Ed i always looked up to and was the reason i joined the league, but my little brother got pushed too hard by my dad because he loved making pokeballs and my dad saw that as a useless perfesson since their mass produced now. So my dad pushed him away and well now last I heard in my mothers letters is my brother had joined team rocket. But he was always a tender hearted boy so i worry about Logan." She explained. She missed her brothers and wished she had taken him with her and ed but she figured Logan somehow found his way out of unova.

Katrina heard a voice suddenly saying she hoped they didn't scare her "No you didn't scare me" she said. "I was just hoping I didn't bump into anyone" she smiled. When the girl said if she was looking for a beach she was in the wrong place. "Oh no I just usually only have long dresses from back home that are heavier so if I wore those I would be sweating and overheating. So, the best thing I have for hot weather is my swimming suit" she said smiling. She didn't pick up on when people weren't using the best of manners.

Mic scampered up her legs making her laugh as he ended up on her head. "This is Mic" she smiled petting her little Dedene on the head as it gave her trainer a little shock of joy. She watched the girl and wondered what she would say next she didn't know what to do to be honest. She just hoped this girl was nice and not mean so far, she hadn't met anyone mean in the region. Which made her happy to see that there weren't many mean people even with team rocket around.

She smiled "Nice to meet you Pulse" she smiled at the Audino. "So, what have you been up to Thomas" she said looking at him as she sucked up some of the milkshake that she had ordered. Which was a strawberry banana milkshake. She smiled as Mic started running around Pulse excitedly wanting to play.

She then listened to her old friend as she drinks her milkshake some of her thoughts drifted to her older brother who she missed and was surprised she hadn't run into since they were both in the region. He had left home with her and so she was surprised not even a word from him. She also wondered what her little brother was up to he had run away from home too but went into team rocket. She missed her brothers then she shook the thoughts away focusing on Thomas.

She had never really liked coffee she liked the smell, but it was too bitter for her, so she was glad to see he remembered she liked milkshakes. She smiled at him as she listened to him. Serina received a scoop of ice cream one of her favorite things due to being an ice type it helped her when she wasn't in a cold place.

She smiled when the Mudbrey let her mount it. As she got on the back of the little Mudbrey. She looked at the girl listen to what she was saying about the fact she should sometime catch a Pokémon that she could ride. She nodded understanding. "That makes since" she said she figured she should sometime get something to ride and something that fly's. Besides nickel.

She got situated on top of the Mudbrey and then tapped on her headset "Yep you're coming in clear" she said. She decided to check around any body of water first since she figured that would probably the best traffic area to try first. So, she followed Mic as he scampered along the ground towards the closest body of water with the Mudbrey. She didn't know what else to do or where else to check after that she did find one of them, but it spotted her and ran off. She stopped Mudbrey thinking ok i need to try something different going at it straight on will just spook it.

She wondered how she should go about catching it. Usually, she would use Mics nuzzle attack to paralyze the Pokémon but Mareep were electric type like Mic so it wouldn't really work.

"I do not have a mount Pokémon" she said although she thought maybe in the future it might be good to get one. Right now, she could still walk around and look though. "But I'm sure we will find them" she said in a positive way not bothered by the fact she would have to walk around. Although she was nervous for her first mission this one seemed pretty straight forward and easy to her. She was excited to get started. "Although if mudbrey is ok with it I could also ride them, but they don't have to let me" she smiled leaving it up to the Pokémon.

She smiled pulling out her commutation device and put it on her head she luckily had one her brother had bought her recently she only got letters and objects from her brother every once in a while. This one she had received from her little brother though. Which was weird cause he was in team rocket. She smiled as her a Mic were ready to get started, she was excited for her first mission, she just hoped she wouldn't mess up. She would have to remain focused and not get all nervous and scatter brained.

DAY AFTER DAY, LIKE A LIFETIME AWAY, I KEEP HOLDIN' ON

"That's ok I have time to sit and listen it's not often I run into friends from the past" she said smiling at him. She had remembered that both of them had dads that wanted them to live up to them. She had luckily escaped her dad's pressure so did her older brother Edward, but her younger brothers hadn't and last time she herd one of them had run away to join team rocket. She was worried for what that brother was getting into. Her dad had always wanted her to be perfect, but she was never perfect enough for her father.

Mic smiled when Thomas had pet him and give out a tiny shock even more tiny than when he shocked his owner. His way of nuzzling and saying hi. Sarina smiled as she had been hugged me the audino. Everyone felt so happy to meet old friends. It had been so long. After saying hi to Thomas the little Pokémon nuzzled audino too. He felt so happy.

"Sure, I can never say no to milkshakes" she smiled at her old friend as she followed him ordering one that was mixed with vanilla and strawberry. She felt so happy, and it was very obvious from her face expressions.

The continued up the hill and noticed something she never thought she would see it was a Gallade. She started making notes of what it seemed to be doing it seemed to be settling a Pokémon dispute between another Pokémon. Which she thought was sweet. One of the Pokémon had startled, and she squealed. And ended up tipping and started falling down the large hill. She closed her eyes ready for impact, but she was surprised it never came. The Pokémon spoke using its psychic type powers "Are you alright?" to her surprise the Pokémon had caught her. The gallade that had just been helping the Pokémon helped her a random stranger. This seemed like similar to what she wanted to do.

She talked with the Pokémon introducing herself and thanking him for saving her. She had learned this Pokémon's old trainer was a ranger but had died while out on a mission. Although he had no trainer anymore, he still kept doing the same duty him and his trainer used to do. He then noticed her badge on her armband. "So, you're a ranger too" he said. She nodded "I have a dream to help all and every Pokémon even if I have to face other humans to do it" she said. He nodded understanding after some time he asked if he could join her. He looked at her hoping she would accept. She nodded taking out a pokeball letting him make the choice.

"I see I guess it's different for me my parents weren't exactly royal like kings and queens. They were however rich, so they thought of themselves as higher than others. They had dreamed of having a perfect looking daughter and son to become the family prince and princess. That was me and Edward anyone else after that they wouldn't pay attention to. But when we left, they started pressuring my little brother logan, which then caused him to rebel run away from home and join team rocket last time I heard" she said. She really wasn't a princess by any stretch of the word, but her parents had wanted her to be.

She listened as the woman had said she knew it was her duty and she would do it even if she didn't like it. "I don't think I could have done that, I hated even being a fake princess" she said. You would have to be so perfect and couldn't be yourself it sounds so stressful. She was happy being able to dress how she wanted and didn't really care what people thought of herself. She listened to her plan and smiled "Sounds like a good plan to me, I personally just want to be a ranger" she said. That was her dream was to be a ranger and help Pokémon in danger.

She smiled when the girl had introduced herself "I'm Katrina Murphy nice to meet you Elise" she smiled. And started walking along the route as she pets Mic's head.

She greeted her fellow cadet with a smile. Something about this woman made her feel at ease after all her hair reminded her of her big brothers. "Yes, I spoke to him as soon as i got here" she said. "He said that 15 mareep are missing" she said. She didn't know how they were going to find them all. "He said he had put them away last night but when he came back the latch had gotten undone, he thinks it wasn't latched properly." She explained so now their task was to find them was it better to split up or look together.



She smiled letting the mudbrey she was riding sniff her as she pets it "your mudbrey is cute" she smiled. Then she got ready to figure out how to find the other Pokémon then she realized she hadn't introduced herself. She was about to introduce herself but then she remembered she already mentioned her last name. She wasn't used to being called by her last name, so she hadn't caught that. "May I ask your name headquarters told me just a more experienced cadet would meet me here" she said explaining.



She smiled her silver hair standing out form the outfit she had on her little mic sitting on her shoulder. "Oh, and this is Mic" she said pointing to the Dedenne. She smiles at her mic who nuzzles her again with nuzzle as she giggles. She loved Mic although he wasn't her starter, he was the one she counted on the most.
