Ultra Megalopolis - Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

A RUINED CITY IN ULTRA SPACE. It is unclear whether this is a different universe's Ultra Megalopolis or smaller colony. Regardless, it is a dark city with intermittent sections of flickering, artificial light... Large, black prism-like skyscrapers loom above flat black streets. Much ruin has fallen here, but you get the sense that you're not alone...

for reasons unknown, they find themselves venturing to lesser megalpolis this time, after having explored and fled from ultra crater a fair few times.

guess this is what's expected from them as capable trainers.

he lifts a hand, signaling for them to be quiet as around the corner, he hears what he thinks to be a few zombie-like megapololans.

peering around the corner, briefly illuminated by his luxray, he's damn right.

Calla rolls up on her toes as she tries to peer around both the corner and his larger build. He doesn’t need to answer her.
The shambling megalopolans make themselves abundantly clear with their noisy groans and shambling gaits. [break][break]
Her jaw snaps shut and a hand lifts to cover her mouth, like she thinks they’ll be able to somehow hear her breathing. But no, she actually has to fix her hand there to stop the blurted out, “Eugh, gross,” that almost flew loose off her tongue.[break][break]

Despite their height difference, her hand does shoot up to slap over his softly when he speaks. Eyes wide as she looks out toward the hoard.[break][break]
One stops for a moment, attention perking. Then it groans and resumes it ambling shuffle.[break][break]
Cal lets out the breath she’d been holding.[break][break]
“Agreed,” she nods her head with certainty and does a swift-heel turn to head in the opposite direction.[break][break]
“Maybe that building would be good to set up base at,” she points at one in the near distance. It’s not too large, and still looks at least somewhat intact.[break][break]
More importantly, it doesn’t look swarmed by mindless, violent megalopolans.

If there’s anyone she can appreciate playfulness from, it’s Uriah. In a situation like this, if any other person were to attempt it, she’d probably chew them out. Coming from him, though, it makes her smile in an otherwise stressful moment.[break][break]
She’s glad that she can keep up this time without the hinderance of a twisted ankle, given the vortex that spins out toward them. As he slams the door shut, she peers out a small window. The cyclone tears through the space, void black and looking to suck up anything in its path.[break][beak]
Hopefully it turns in another direction.[break][break]
Yeah, they’re pretty stupid. That’s putting it lightly. It seems like there’s more threats than anticipated in the decrepit city.[break][break]

Her head tilts, arms folding. “Why is that bad to admit?” she challenges, curious as to why he shies from it. “If we’re in agreement… it just means we can get better at all this, y’know?”[break][break]
It’s an opportunity to grow. At least she thinks so anyway. Calla wouldn’t have originally considered adventuring and exploring to be her thing. But maybe she’s been wrong this whole time.[break][break]
When he moves closer, Cal leans into his side and lets out another relieved sigh. For a moment, they can catch their breath.[break][break]
“Agreed. Do you have it handy? I can help.” Fishing in her pocket, she finds a red sharpie–holding it up to wiggle in front of his nose.
