— when she graduated high school, she got accepted into university in Unova, though she didn't exactly know what she wanted to do with her life at that point. she had never been the best student, often finding it difficult to study and focus, but had been able to scrape through high school through raw intellect and luck. unsurprisingly, she needed to drop out by the end of her second year.[break][break]
— recently broke up with her long-term boyfriend, right after he proposed to her. it did not end well, but then again, the relationship wasn't exactly going well as it was, not for a long time. there's only so much cheating and manipulation a person can handle, even if they're a pushover like her.[break][break]
— a few days after the breakup, it had hit her all at once: she had no life. she'd isolated herself from the few people she'd actually call friends, had no real hobbies to speak of... she didn't even know what she wanted to do with her life. it was as though she'd been sleepwalking since she was thirteen, and had only just now woken up. something had to change.[break][break]
— she met her marill, rei, when she was fourteen years old. they have been besties ever since.[break][break]
