Throwing out a pokeball, Navy’s Cyclizar gives them all a short, friendly growl. Thin Lizzy is downright pleasant compared to many of his other dragons. She shows no discontent to her rider’s presence. They set off on a ride through the ultra deep sea.[break][break]
Thankfully, the Nihilego and other dangers of the place keep their distance. None seem keen to antagonize the two of them. After being a menace to their kind for half a year, the Nihilego have learned to keep a respectful distance from the sheriff.[break][break]
“So, how do you like being a gym leader?” He asks, making conversation to pass the time. “Been a fun gig for me so far, but I haven’t been doing it as long as you have.”

he can only watch in awe as his froakie, small and fragile-looking, increases in size, expanding and enlarging until the water-type towers over both of them and then some. he barely hears navy's words but it does take him a moment to process them.[break][break]

blinking, froakie turns away to use its HYDRO PUMP that materializes as MAX GEYSER, forming clouds above only for RAIN to pour from them after.

When some genius in Galar came up with the name Max Geyser, the sheriff wonders if they gave themselves a pat on the back. The person, whoever they are, is a master of understatement. Geyser does it too little credit. It’s a blast of concussive force coupled with a torrential flood. Luckily, Navy came prepared.[break][break]
Tossing out another pokeball, he takes flight aboard his Corviknight. Navy and Lancelot, the illustrious name given the bird, were never close until recently. Only after his Skarmory was melted down to his last feather did the two find occasion to make friends.[break][break]
All the same, Lancelot carries Navy above the blooded chamber.[break][break]
“Now, I’m not some scientist guy,” Navy says with an even voice, “but a blast that strong could probably punch a hole in a skyscraper.” [break][break]
A small pause as he catches his breath. Intrusive memories of these same experiments taking place in Galar return to him.[break][break]

“Just one.” Pulling out a simple red pokeball, Navy releases his Urshifu. Shuwen has been with him through many battles. He has fought these larger than life monsters before. His eyes flit between Cian and the pulsing organ. Understanding why he has been called, the bear sighs and steps forward.[break][break]
Though they are not bound by a sygna suit, Navy knows Shuwen takes no pleasure in this. The fighting master’s opinion on dynamax isn’t so very different from his own. Shuwen, too, grows large.[break][break]
Curiously, he looks like a supermassive version of an Urshifu’s mega form. Tall, blue, lean. Thundering clouds roll about his head.[break][break]
Nearby, Shuwen spies an intruder: a Naganadel, aiming to get close to the crystal. His roar shakes the cavern to its foundation. Skipping to the side with grace no creature his size should have, Shuwen unleashes g-max rapid flow upon the ultra beast. One fist is enough to obliterate the monster. The two that follow are overkill. One final fist slams into the wall of the chamber, the first thing Navy has ever seen put a crack, however insignificant, inside. Doubtless Eternatus’s blood cells will heal the wound in short order, but it’s a small spark of hope.[break][break]
How he hates that, that only Eternatus can give home hope of defeating Eternatus.[break][break]
“Arceus but I love Urshifu.”
