Andrea stood atop one of the larger cascades Meteor Falls was named after, water rushing from both sides of her feet into a massive linn several meters below. Steeling herself, she took a deep breath, and jumped.

As she plummeted towards certain doom, the six wings of her Sygna Suit unfurled, Infinity Energy coursing through her body in order to--even for a small, precious moment--channel the natural abilities of a Pokémon.

"I'm a Hydreigon! Time for me to Fly! RAWR~!"

The act of flying was inherently alien to a human. Although she managed to ride the wind currents like a real bird for a few seconds, she eventually lost control and resumed falling like a modern Icarus. Thankfully, her loyal companion Chomper was there to save her in the nick of time.

Later, the young PokéManiac and her party took a respite from their training near the water's edge, eating CHESTNUTS that Jalapeño had roasted with his fire breath.

"I maintained flight for much longer this time. If I keep practicing, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!" The girl mused.

Unbeknownst to her, the smell of food tickled the noses of lurking predators...

One of Andrea's Pokéballs popped open, her Tyrantrum coming out. The massive T-Rex let out a terrifying Roar, scaring the wild one away. Their roasted chestnuts were safe, for now.

"Thanks, Regina!" The girl tossed a chestnut upwards, which the T-Rex caught in its gigantic jaws.

A wild Dratini poked its head out of the water, drawn by the delicious scent of roasted chestnuts. However, upon taking a good look at the two larger dragons standing on guard, the poor little noodle squirmed in fear, diving back in.

"Huh, what was that?" Andrea turned her head around, only to see ripples in the water.

While the happy-go-lucky campers were eating their food, a wild Sliggoo slowly slithered their way, seemingly unfazed by the presence of the two larger dragons.This one must have been a territorial male.

Noticing the slimy interloper, her scaly guardians prepared to attack, but Andrea raised a hand to stop them. “Wait, let me do this on my own. I wanna see how strong I’ve gotten.”

What better way to test her upgraded Sygna Suit than throwing hands with a Pokémon?

The young woman gained newfound abilities thanks to the mutual flow of Infinity Energy. “RAWR! I’m feeling Worked Up!” She roared, feeling the same draconic rage that Chomper felt when battling. It made her stronger.

The glob of water thrown in her face only made her angrier. She pounced on the Sliggoo with an Outrage. Both of them ended up wrestling on the ground. With unusually sharp teeth for a human, she Crunched on its mucus-coated flesh.

Her 1/8th Kalosian blood awoke in her the inexplicable urge to consume snails.

Flailing out of her grasp, the violet slug tried to crawl as far away as it could from the deranged girl. She was seeing red by this point. There would be no TIDINGS OF COMFORT AND JOY this year. There would only be blood.

It took Jalapeño gently nudging her leg for the berserk PokéManiac to come back to her senses. The poor Fuecoco was traumatized by the sight of his mother going full feral mode.

“Come here, my baby boy. Mommy’s so sorry.” Andrea hugged the little crocodile comfortingly, kissing the top of its head. Feeling bad for the Sliggoo she had just abused, she threw a spare ball towards it, hoping to take it to a Pokémon Center later.
