Third time's the charm, perhaps? Makoto would watch as Tsukiko stretched her limbs - having taken a good nap, inbetween the end of the last fight and now. She was still shaking off a bit of the sleep, but was still absolutely ready to go, if the swish of her tails was anything to imply.

At her end of the battlefield, Tsukiko would drop into a play-bow for whoever was to arrive next, her eagerness more than plenty on display! Let's go!

A Paradox Pokemon; one that Makoto hadn't seen in the flesh (or perhaps metal) before, but made them think of their time in the Mechanical Kingdom... They'd give a nod to Ana in a quiet, respectful, greeting of their own - pulling out their Tera Orb.

Which, with a brilliant light, Tsukiko would terastallize into pure-fairy, her lavender fur taking on a crystalline pink! Already anticipating what Makoto would ask of her, the fox bounced forward and let loose a howling Springtide Storm as the fight began - the swirling pink petals frosted from Tsukiko's Snow Warning..!

The battlefield became subsumed in a pale pink light, so bright she had to look away.

When she looked back, the Ninetails was covered in a crystalline skein, reflecting lumiose rose-colored beams, like a crystal dangling from a car rearview mirror.

“Neat. Terasta-- sty-- what the hell ever, right? Never seen it in the flesh. Er. Crystal.”

The wind began to pick up and a tight spiral of pink air curled around Rose. A chill settled in and little hailstones began to plink off the Valiant.

“Woah. That’s a lotta stuff at once. Rose, spirit break.”

Lashing out with her bladed forearms, the Paradox Pokemon charged through the effects surrounding her to strike the Ninetails.

“Have you ever licked your Tera mon?” she asked, on a whim. “It looks like it’s frozen in strawberry hard candy. Wonder what it tastes like.”

Under Rose's blade, the petals were torn and shredded - and Tsukiko yelped as that very same blade bit into her fur, sending her stumbling back. Though, even if she had been struck, she didn't seem at all miffed or discouraged by it - simply shaking herself off, and bouncing about as she prepared for her next move!

Meanwhile though, Makoto blinked a bit at Ana's question. As strange as the inquiry might be, it looked as though they actually gave it a bit of thought.

"I... Feel like licking her would be a bad idea." They'd soon muse out loud - if Tsukiko was solid crystal, that'd just be asking for someone to get their tongue stuck. Otherwise, that was the risk of catching something from her fur - especially with all this fighting - or the risk of just looking bizarre in general.

Meanwhile, having decided on her next move, the snowstorm that Tsukiko's presence had whipped up would begin to howl all the louder, as the icy fox sent a Blizzard at Rose, shards of ice threatening to slice at her!

The Valiant pressed on, through windwall and flower, through fur and eventually flesh.

“You think?” she said, in a flimsy sort of tone that suggested she didn’t quite agree. “What if it tastes like a Panera Charged Lemonade?”

She loved those things. Drank about 3 of them a day.

The wind began to howl. Shards of ice bit into Rose’s armor, shooting off sparks. Somewhere, a necessary servo was punctured, depressurizing with a loud hiss.

Already at close range, and buffeted on all sides by the weather, Rose charged up her arm blades and struck out with psycho cut.

Makoto blinked. "Isn't the amount of caffiene in those things... really unhealthy?" They questioned, seeming a bit befuddled by Ana. Granted, most of what they knew was just from idly following the news.

As Rose attempted to make a followup strike against Tsukiko however, it would be amidst the howling winds and snow and ice... That she'd seemingly disappear. Using Snow Cloak, she had hid herself to dodge away from the Iron Valiant's attack.

And once Tsukiko thought herself a safe distance away, she'd attempt to ambush him - letting loose another Springtide Storm in his direction..!

She dropped both shoulders in a shrug, hoping the sounds of the crowd and battle covered the mechanical servos in her left one.

“Yeah, probably, but. Here for a good time, not a long time, and all that jazz.”

Rose’s blades whiffed through empty air, and they turned a beat too slow. Another springtide storm buffetted them, scuffing up their chassis and forcing them back.

They crossed their blades over their chest and then thrust them out, summoning a moonblast that charged out like a cannon shot, plasma-like radiance burning a long stretch of ground as it went.

One would think that being around for a long time would mean plenty of opportunties for that supposed good time, but... Makoto wasn't really sure if they wanted to get into a whole discussion about that - instead turning their attention to the fight

Which, Tsukiko would yelp as she was struck by the Moonblast; a dead-on hit that had her tumbling. As she got up to her paws, she'd sway a little - visibly tiring out, but still prepared to fight.

And, she had one trick up her sleeve that she wanted to put to work - diving towards the snow-covered earth, to burrow below in a Dig...!

For a few long moments, it seemed as though she were absent... But doing her best to listen and feel for where Rose was, she'd attempt to ambush the Valiant as she leapt from the underground - hoping that a surprise attack would help balance the scales..!

When the harsh light faded and the moonblast dissipated, the Ninetails was nowhere to be seen.

Rose found her feet again, head tilted to the side, knowing full well that the nine-tailed fox was full of tricks and that it hadn’t just mysteriously disapparated. The panels on her head rose and fell slightly as she listened: for the sound of breathing, for the sound of rustling fur, for anything…

…ah, there. The beast was using dig, and it would be emerging from the ground, just so. Rose drew back her weapon and stabbed downward with leaf blade towards where the Ninetails was set to emerge, putting the two of them on a collision course of attacks.

Though Rose had been able to anticipate where Tsukiko was emerging, she wasn't quite fast enough to catch the fox. Tsukiko would close her teeth around the Valiant's forearm to prevent the Leaf Blade from landing, and made to slam Rose to the ground underneath her weight; she wasn't a small fox!

Being on top like this was risky; but it was with her hope that this close up, a Springtide Storm would be able to further tilt the scales in her favor!

The dig won out. Upward motion met downward motion, and the fox jerked the Valiant off balance. The construct’s front hit the ground with a loud thud and the sound of a thousand tinkling tin cans. Her internal gyroscopes whirred as she frantically tried to turn herself over, not wanting her back to be exposed to the fox.

Then the thing was in her face, teeth bared so close she could see her reflection in them; one hand pressed against the fox’s throat to hold her back, jaws snapping inches from her curved helmet. Pink wind began to whirl and howl, and the Valiant extended her arm blade and slashed across with psycho cut, aiming for the fox’s face or throat.

And that final strike did the trick - throwing Tsukiko off of the Iron Valiant, sending her tumbling. When she finally came to a stop, she'd make an exaggerated groan, flopping over onto her back and... Appearing to be over-dramatically playing dead, if they way she crooked the back of her paw against her eyes was of any indication.

Makoto made a faint, fond smile to Tsukiko at this - coming up to pat her on the belly. "You did good," They spoke - before glancing over to Ana and Rose both. "Good fight,"
