Two fights under their belts, and Ettie and Yip were both still ready for another! Even as the skies above rumbled - which did send a brief shiver down the wildchild's spine - the two would get into place for their next fight.

Yip sniffed at the air, idly swinging her tail about; would this next pokemon be interesting in some way, too?

She rolled her metallic shoulder back, feeling the servos whirr and stretch. It was a feat of engineering genius but it did get tiring after a lot of standing up. Which this was. A lot of standing up.

“Cute Smeargle,” she said, rubbing at the joint over her jacket, and smiling at her opponent. They looked to be in their mid-teens, which heartened her; something something, traditional Pokemon journey aged youth, blah blah.

Ooh! This was definitely something new! Yip's eyes would first be locked upon Ana's arm - but upon noticing Rose, she'd glance to it next, giving an eager little yip! New things! Exciting! What would they have to put on display?

Either way, Ettie would smile and nod. "Thank you! Ettie likes friend's partner, too!" She chirped back - visibly admiring the Iron Valiant as well. So shiny, and pretty!!! But, any admiring had to wait - there was a fight to be had, first! "Am ready!" She'd respond, raising her orb high!

Terastallization envelopped Yip - the pale crystalline overlay making her fur all the more white. But rather than remain a Smeargle, Yip would decide to use Transform - painting herself to take on Rose's appearance! (Aside from, of course, the crystalline appearance seeming to still be present.)

It took a second, to get used to this strange new shape - the transformed Smeargle looking herself over. But once she understood the blades on her arms, she'd readily go for a mirror match - charging forth, blades shining in a Psycho Cut..!

She watched with a steadily growing smile as the Smeargle terastalyzed (or however the fuck you spell it, we won’t be using it next gen) and then transformed into a copy of her Valiant.

Blade clashed against blade - a mirror match in all respects, thanks to Yip's Transform.

However, while she was eager to learn to use this new form, that very much meant she was lacking in the same experience that Rose held; an opening allowing the Valiant to cut into the metal exterior and send her stumbling back with an electronic yelp.

But, Yip didn't falter; eager to try and put this shape to more use, she'd dive right back in with a Spirit Break, attempting to strike hard and fast in the hopes of overcoming with determination alone!

It seemed the false Valiant desired close combat. Rose was more than willing to grant this wish. The feeling of her blade sinking into metallic chassis then fiberoptic workings heartened her, and so she pressed onward, answering the returning charge with a spirit break of her own.

Once more, the duo clashed - blade against blade. However, rather than just make this a direct contest, it seemed that Yip had a trick up her sleeve to try and tip this in her favor. Kicking a leg out, she'd make to trip Rose up - and taking the advantage offered, would slice at her!

Attempting to press it further though, she would follow up with a second Spirit Break - though there was the hope that she was not pressing her luck too hard...

Perhaps the Valiant was underestimating their opponent. It was not a mistake they were going to make again, as they felt one leg get pushed out from under them. Their internal balancing systems whirled and she ended up having to twist away, and was forced back on the offensive quickly, once again countering spirit break for spirit break-- though hers was more of a pushing defensive maneuver, instead of an offensive strike.

Though the initial clash whiffed on both sides, an opening had been made. Taking that opportunity, Yip's hand would glow a brilliant white, as she slammed her palm into Rose's 'gut' with a Tera Blast to blast the Valiant away...!

And deciding to use the space made to her advantage, Yip would attempt to fire off a Moon Blast at Rose, hoping that this would be a nice and clean finisher..!

At such close range, Rose’s long limbs and weapon mastery gave her little advantage. The Smeargle’s fist hit her chassis with a lame tink. There was a half beat where everyone was frozen. Then, the tera blast went off, causing the alloy plating to warp and crinkle like tinfoil.

From above, the moonblast struck Rose’s back, dissipating in fractals of hot-white light. Ethereal steam rose off the construct’s form as it struggled to stay online, summoning everything she had within her to power her limbs and stab out for a final, last ditch spirit break…

This desperation move succeeded - at least for now. The Spirit Break sliced into Yip's metal chassis, drawing another electronic yelp and forcing her back. She'd stumble a bit, lights and electricity flickering and her form appearing to be starting to melt, dripping with paint.

They were both on equal grounds, in this moment.

But Yip was eager to try and secure a victory - the opportunity was there, she just had to take it! Keeping her distance from Rose, she'd attempt to fire another Moonblast, hoping that an evasive maneuver was the play.

Metal parted like paper, and Rose gave off a series of humming beeps of success, finally feeling like she was getting close to knocking this copycat off its block.

Having won back some space, she was quick to pursue the charge, empowering her blades with psychic energy and aiming to drive the psycho cut deep into the false Valiant’s broken torso.

And with that final strike, the false Iron Valiant melts completely. Or, more accurately, the paint that had formed it - Yip being left in the middle of a puddle of white-green-pink paint, with every color inbetween where it mixes. The Smeargle is visibly dizzy and down for the count, laying on her back.

Ettie smiles though, seeming to pay zero mind to the paint as she comes over to pat Yip on the head. And smiling up to Ana, she'd chirp "Thank you! Was fun! Play again later?"
