"Ollie, good to see you!", Thomas greeted the Head Ranger warmly.

"What, afraid of a has-been like me? I thought you Head Rangers were supposed to be tough!", Thomas teased back at the man, before breaking into lighthearted laughter. Thomas shook the man's hand, a lighthearted grin plastered on his features.

"Yes, let's give 'em a hell of a show!", Thomas replied, before stepping back into his corner.

Ripper assumed a fighting stance.

"Ripper, give 'em hell.", Thomas told the Scizor.

The Scizor met the Pikachu's charge with one of his own. With a powerful leap, the Scizor charged the Pikachu, pincer cocked back, before attempting to strike the rodent with a Bullet Punch.

The Scizor grinned as the Pikachu got up. The little guy was tenacious, he had to give him that. The Scizor, attempting to brave the Disarming Voice, charged the Pikachu again, this time going for a one-two Double Hit punch.

The Scizor grunts in pain as the electrical shocks course through his body. In an attempt to shake off the electrical rodent, the Scizor begins to swing his arm swiftly and violently. The Scizor hoped the Brutal Swing could throw the Pikachu off of him, before more damage could be done.

[break][break] With a nod, the Pikachu gets up and shakes his fur. Fatigue has started to wear him down, but he's not quite ready yet.

The Scizor began to draw ragged breaths. He was on his last legs, he could feel it. And it seemed the Pikachu had plenty more in the tank. It was a bad position to be in, but he was going to see it through to the end.

The Scizor braced himself against the wave coming his way.

Thomas channeled Z-Power into his Scizor, causing the bug to glow with energy. In a rush of power, the Scizor dashed towards the Pikachu, pincer opening, and deploying Z-powered threads towards the rodent. If they latched onto the Pikachu, the Scizor would follow up by attempting to yank the Pikachu towards him. From there, he'd attempt to deliver a devastating punch.

[break][break] The SAVAGE SPIN-OUT crashes into the Pikachu, nearly spiraling him off the field, and Ollie has no choice but to trigger their own secret ability. Around his arm, his ranger band glows vibrantly as light circles around the Pikachu and triples him to catastrophic size.

After the decisive strike is dealt, Ripper watches as the Pikachu expands in size. Despite his ragged state, the Scizor grins wickedly. The armored insect's blood pumped furiously, letting out a bloodthirsty cry akin to a roar.

The Scizor attempted to brave the storm being sent towards him. If he was able to do so, he'd rush the Pikachu, attempting to pummel the colossus in a barrage of pincer blows.

If he was going out, he'd go out in frenzied Close Combat.

[attr="class","textbody"] Dynamax Evolution, from what Ollie understood, was a tempermental thing. There were several people who were against it, but just as many who supported it. As Head Ranger, Ollie considered it as he had no choice — he might as well learn to wield it.

[break][break] "What d'ya think?" he calls from across the arena, watching as the fatigue gathers in his Pikachu's expression. Even as he towers over the rest of them, Ollie knows it's only a matter of time before they meet their end.

[break][break] As the CLOSE COMBAT comes for him, the Pikachu attempts a last-ditch MAX STEELSPIKE. Pillars pierce through the earth, spiraling upwards, in attempt to spear through the insect as it descends.

Blows rained down onto the colossal Pikachu. Despite the shape Ripper was in, he was enjoying himself.

As the Steel Spike jutted from the earth, threatening to spear him, the Scizor brought down his pincer onto the Pikachu one last time. One last attempt at a Brutal Swing, before he went down.
