Starting off with a DOUBLE TEAM was quick thinking on her opponent's part. What's more, using a LICK was a great way to leave Bruno in a shocked state. Already, the increased number of enemies was too much for him to quickly process and avoid. When the froakie suddenly had its tongue against his cheek, Bruno felt a chill crawl up his spine.[break][break]

"C'mon, Bruno, use your MUD SHOT!"[break][break]

The swampert slapped his violated cheek to regain himself. Before the froakie could gain too much distance between them, he aimed a wet MUD SHOT at the small frog. His movements seemed slower than usual...[break][break]

Nabi huffed and puffed. She stomped her foot against the ground, collecting little droplets of mud on her ruby red rainboot. For some reason, she really wanted to beat Cian in this battle.[break][break]

"PROTECT, quick!"[break][break]

Bruno raised his arms to ready the PROTECT, but his body froze in place. Crap--a PARALYSIS! Before he could protect himself, the onslaught of froakies rained down on the swampert with the SMACK DOWN. He felt his body press into the ground with an oomph![break][break]

"Move, Bruno! Use your ROCK SLIDE!"[break][break]

Bruno banged his head against the hard ground to force his body to break from the paralysis. He was shaken, but that didn't stop him from sending several rocks in the direction of the froakie and its clones, hoping to at least disperse the fake ones if not the real one.[break][break]

it's not surprising to see how badly nabi park wants to beat him. he does have a certain allure to him that invites that feeling. maybe it's his cockiness that's mostly feigned, though a small part of it is genuine.[break][break]

his record this tournament speaks for itself, after all.[break][break]

the order comes as soon as he sees the incoming ROCK SLIDE. froakie nods, preparing itself to catch and lift any rocks that may come its way while at the same time spitting back a HYDRO PUMP.[break][break]

The power of the froakie was gobsmacking. Was it because of the Sygna Suit? She watched, completely flabbergasted, as it caught and returned several of Bruno's ROCK SLIDE attacks. Even Bruno was surprised to see the strength of the froakie beat him out.[break][break]

The swampert raised dodged accordingly, moving across the field on all fours, but was unsuccessful to run away from all of the froakie's counters. Once one rock had hit him, it was immediately followed by a HYDRO PUMP.[break][break]

They were losing to a froakie.[break][break]

In a last ditch effort, Bruno repeatedly slammed his thick hands into the ground and called forth a MUDDY WATER to drown the field, though there was little fight in him at this point.[break][break]

never underestimate a froakie, no matter how small or not intimidating it may seem, like cian's.[break][break]

as MUDDY WATER washes over froakie, brushing past cian's feet, he knows the battle to be won. he can sense it, able to feel it in his bones.[break][break]

and sure enough, one SMACK DOWN is all it takes to seal them the win.[break][break]
