at the sight of the exeggutor, Jasmine peeked up. The little gloom waited for the wild exeggutor to make a move first, but when it did, she began to sing an enchanting lucky chant to distract the hungry exeggutor. with its attention diverted from the vulnerable berries, she then absorbed its health with a mega drain, using the power of the lucky chant from earlier to strengthen her attack.

jasmine chirped in excitement when she saw nabi approach the garden. it had been much too long since nabi was able to drop by and check on her berries. she couldn't help but feel a little guilty, in fact, especially when she saw the bellossom's petals sway in dance. "hope you weren't too lonely," she said to jasmine with a small smile. jasmine replied with a joyful tune.[break][break]

despite her abscence, she could see that the bellossom was doing a job well done in tending both the berries and surrounding greenery. not only that, but there seemed to be a few other wild pokemon hanging around, none that seemed threatening. perhaps the bellossom wasn't so alone then.[break][break]

with a basket in hand, nabi began to gently pluck at the fully grown berries. thankfully none of them had turned rotten. "next time, i'll bring you a treat," nabi said to the bellossom. jasmine raised her hands and hopped in place.[break][break]

the basket was filled to the brim by the time nabi was done. the trees seemed bare now, but it would only be a few days before berries were back on the branches. "here you go," she said, tossing one of the fresh pickings to jasmine as thanks for all her hard work.[break][break]

with the berries collected, it was time to go.
