It's this local little park in Lilycove, on the grass. This fountain sits in the background, and though its cold, the vibrant greenery is so beautiful here, that Genny and Gordo can't help but take in the fresh air.[break][break]

They'd been through so many battles. Admittedly, Genny and Gordo both felt a little tuckered out. Maybe they shouldn't have signed up for so many matches, or challenged strangers on the street... is what Genny or Gordo would have said or thought, if it wasn't so darn fun! And wouldn't you know it-[break][break]

Was that Melody Miro ? Okay. She had a chance to battle kyle lopez , CIAN MAHER , and lam logan , now was time to challenge an elite![break][break]

"Melodyyyyyyyy!" she calls out, jumping and waving in her little trainer fit, as she quickly jogs on her. Gordo follows behind, a tiny little smoothie straw in the shiny Sandshrew's mouth.[break][break]

Once she's close enough, she's coming for Melody. "Are you still looking for battles for the tournament? I've got a pretty good record so far!" She grins ear-to-ear! She most certainly did have a good record!

"You ready to rock n roll? Me n primarina are gonna give ya a dazzling show!" she exclaims before the battle truly begins, the pair's sygnasuit activates and links their emotions and suddenly Joy erupts from ever fibre of melody's being as she was excited to see the girl's growth.

Melody seemed excited, and Genny was too! With a pull down of her hat, and Gordo having a bit of brain freeze, as the armadillo quickly spins in place.[break][break]

Did she do something with her hair? She felt on it. She HAD put some product in it for it to smell nice for uh-[break][break]

A little sheepish now, Genny twirls it around with a finger before snapping back to attention. Genny nods happily. "Absolutely, Melody! I hope you're ready to go!"[break][break]

With a hand out now, her DYNAMAX BRACELET shines, as she returns Gordo, making him a giant behind her, as she orders out. "Give'em a show, Gordo!" Their signature starter this tournament![break][break]

She smirks "A diva is always ready darling." she says as the SYGNASUIT activates and Melody becomes much more whimsical than before as primarina's emotions intermingle with her own. [break][break]

A MAX ROCKFALL threatens to crush them and Melody has to act quickly, "Sparkling aria! Soak the dirt!" she orders as primarina obeys and unleashes a slushy flurry of bubbles, the two attacks collide and in the collateral debris, mud and dust flies everywhere as a sandstorm picks up. [break][break]

If genny was perceptive enough, she'd be able to see melody spitting out some dirt from her mouth "HACK PFFBT" [break][break]

First round is to Melody, as Genny watches the dirt soaked completely, mud and dust fly everywhere, and Genny covered her face... and then gets a rather disarming shot of Melody spitting out dirt from her mouth.[break][break]

With a bit of a sweat, she orders out. "Gordo, throw it back!" With one big slam, the big armadillo does just that, throwing down the gauntlet of a MAX QUAKE![break][break]

Max quake was a troublesome move, she couldn't fight back against the literal ground erupting all around them. Melody herself could defend against the shards of earth. [break][break]

Primarina takes initiative, as the jagged earth jabbing into her was going to make her lose quickly if she didn't respond as she remembers something from one of the previous matches. She aims her maw at the floor and unleashes a HYDRO CANNON to jettison herself into the air. Melody exclaims as they didn't think of a landing strategy "AIM TOWARDS THE OPPONENT!!" As Primarina jettisons towards the Pokémon and attempts to slap him with her tail in a psuedo aqua tail movement [break][break]
