there is a note accompanying the wayward Pokéball; which had only arrived at the Calcifet Draciary at Route 115 several weeks after the holiday season had ended. The note is postdated to December 27, 2023:

‘Hi Remy.

I know you love dragons, and this one was a little hard to let go because they’re from Unova like me, however I believe I’ll be able to find one of my own someday.

I know you can take care of them better than I can, considering how many draconids you have out there at the Draciary.’
